it is beautiful to be able to sit in my house a million miles away and listen to this wonderful man and musician talk about his good buddie ! thanks so much !
He was my dear friend and mentor .. He always traveled with his .38.. nobody was going to cut Yank. If you took the time to read the book, "Blues Mandolin Man" - By Richard Congress, you would know how much this man lived through. He was nice to everyone he knew. Still miss this man .. hard to find people who can play this stuff and he never ran out of things to play and stories to tell. G*d Bless James Yank Rachell.
Yank told me that the first time he ever saw Sonny Boy, Sonny Boy was just a teenager and he was riding a bicycle no handed and playing harmonica. That was in Jackson, Tennessee. Yank was living there at the time and playing music with Sleepy John Estes.

@Lucky Frank 🍀 Well .. I'm Jewish. I'm not supposed to write out the word in any language. I guess it's just a habit.

Not true as SB 1 was a blues genius while SB 2 was just a great all around bluesman.
@@redeyecalendar4968 #2 was a giant and had a reputation of a guy you don't mess with, i think that's what he meant
You're talking about 2 different people. 2 different personalities. You can hear it in their music. Both great. But, different.
