I just bought a 2001 XJ with 173 thousand KM (around 108K miles) and i'm saving money to start my own restoration. I'm thinking about creating a channel for it. Awesome job guys, this motivates me a lot!
I'm in the exact same case. What kind of budget would you expect for a decent mechanical update (I think mine will also need some head gasket job). Thanks mate and all the best with your project.
Man you guys do amazing work. This is exactly the kind of attention to detail I would do for my vehicle. I would trust you guys with my rebuild any day!
I'm incredibly impressed with your rebuilds. I've been a fan of XJs and wish Jeep would do a reboot, but it seems like you basically revive them to virtually new.
Double check the hose coming out of the thermostat housing at 6:56 - might have a small split in it? Other than that, absolutely BEAUTIFUL Jeep, which mine was that clean!
Hi I think this is may favourite xj you’ve done, we live in Devon England , and I have just purchased a lovely 97 xj with only 102k miles! I want to do something very similar to what you have done, would you happen to have an itinerary of the spec? And also where can I purchase the lovely Moab wheels??
Nice paint job I have to say it's hard to make this jeep Cherokee s straight the metal it's so soft and it's hard to do the body work nice 👍 I like have a 93 spot 4x4 a 96 and a Comanche short bed 87 4.0 4x4
I've got a 96 2 door XJ that I've had since it was a year old. It's got well over 500k on it and I still love driving the thing. I'd LOVE to turn it over to these guys to do their magic on it... I'd get it back better than new and it would still cost less than most any new SUV.
Is can you restore other vehicles for example Paul in 2003 Chevy Silverado it's the borato I don't have one of these vehicles but I would like to do it in the future do it in the future I can 20 years

Love the Jeep, I’m always inspired by the attention to detail on the DAS builds.
Your “beefed up radiator”looks a lot like an AC condenser. ;)
Hahah talking about those thick aluminum ends
With the amount of work that was put into this beautiful XJ Jeep I can only imagine all this work is most likely like $40K or more $$$.
40k to restore a 3500$ rig lol
What a beauty of a off-roader machine!
Owner going to enjoy this BIGTIME! My black 01 XJ is jealous 👀

I'd rather have this than a brand new model.
God this looks sick 🔥
That’s beautiful! Nice job! That looks better than a new car! Only thing I would have done different is add disc brakes to the rear.
Nice!! Love your videos!!
So cool sir

Hello good afternoon, excuse the question... What model is the jeep cherokee... And if it is xj or sport... Do you sell it.
That is an XJ. "Sport" is just a trim package.
What headlights do you put in these Jeeps?
Im curios also . Stock lights are like candles.
I'm 99% sure those are Rigid Industries LED Truck-Lites. About $480 for the pair.
Thanks Mark
@@speedracer4588 Glad I could help!
What headlights are these? Thanks.
Those are Rigid Industries LED Truck Lites. 99% positive.
@@markanderson7419 Ok. Thanks for the info.
I have a 2001 xj and I would love it to look like that one. What is the average price for everything and using my jeep. Thank you
Same here 😃
I believe you can find estimation on their websites. Depends alot on the condition.
'woowwww
How long does a normal restoration take? The XJ's you have videos of are always beautiful.
Is can you restore other vehicles for example Paul in 2003 Chevy Silverado it's the borato I don't have one of these vehicles but I would like to do it in the future do it in the future I can 20 years
Nice, next time start it up let us hear it....
DAS is to Jeeps,
is what Singer is to Porsche
Wow $47k
Did you just call those stock JK wheels your own wheels? Lol!
My guess would be they are Mamba Moab wheels with 4.5 backspacing. Don't know why they call them their own custom wheels lol
