    The front wheel bearing is a double bearing and the clearance is preset. That axle nut needs way more than finger tight and actually somewhere around 70-80 lb-ft of torque. Too loose will damage the bearings. If that axle nut is tightened to spec and the bearing locks up and prevents the hub from turning then the bearing is already shot.

    The castle nut has torque specifications just as the brake rotor bolts and lug nuts.

    Did u bleed after changing pads and rotators?

    Is the pedal on the right side a back brake when you step on it?

    • @Jimmy2Tech
      @Jimmy2Tech  3 роки тому

      You bet, it just activates the rear brakes. Instead of all 4 evenly.

    What did you use for greese on the axle?

    • @Jimmy2Tech
      @Jimmy2Tech  3 роки тому

      Any standard greese will work for that application. Just stay away from things like Never-Seez that sometimes booger up with the right conditions which would be bad for the axle.

    Thanks guys, need to change out a outer tie rod end on my 04 and should prob do an alignment. if a guy has access to a lift would it be just as good to remove tires and string off the rotors?

    • @Jimmy2Tech
      @Jimmy2Tech  4 роки тому

      I would imagine you need the wheels on because if you string off the roters you'll end up hitting the wheelwell/fender.

    How about bleeding a master cyclylender and brake lines

    • @Jimmy2Tech
      @Jimmy2Tech  3 роки тому +2

      Are you wanting to know how to bleed them? If so it works the same way as a typical car. You would pump the brake 3-5 times and then hold, then open the bleeder until brake handle goes down then close the bleeder - Starting at the farthest point from the brake handle (which is the right rear) then repeat until no air is presently escaping from the bleeder. Side note, keep an eye on your fluid level, you don't want to let it run dry.

    How do you remove the rear rotor?

    I have Polaris Sportsman 570, year 2018. They have the same pads?

    • @Jimmy2Tech
      @Jimmy2Tech  3 роки тому

      Negative. Head to amazon and search for, "Polaris Sportsman 570 Brake Pad Set" and you'll find some there that will fit your make. When searching I saw a ceramic set for $42.79 with 21 reviews at 4 and a half stars:)

    guys, do U know how does that speed sensor work? does the brake disk have a magnet? if so how do i know i'm having the correct disk there?

    • @Jimmy2Tech
      @Jimmy2Tech  Рік тому

      The speed sensor is a magnetic sensor and it reads a series of holes in the brake rotor and that's how it calculates speed. You have to look up the appropriate rotor for your make and model and the holes should be in the correct place.

      @@Jimmy2Tech thank you, so at the end i bought a new sensor and now my speedometer reads properly

    I can’t get the rear carriage bolt off my 2015 570, you mention they should only be hand tight, anyone else find them way to tight on their bikes?
