Le robot MOOSE, contrôlé à distance par Vincent (Hugh Jackman de X-Men et The Greatest Showman), est lancé pour assassiner Deon (Dev Patel de Slumdog Millionaire et Lion) et Chappie dans la cachette, au moment où Hippo (Brandon Auret) arrive pour récupérer sa dette. Chappie combat le robot mais Deon reçoit une balle dans le dos par Hippo.

De quoi parle le film Chappie ?
À Johannesburg, dans un futur proche, où la criminalité ne cesse de grimper, la police de la ville a fait appel à l'entreprise Tetravaal, spécialisée en robotique et dirigée par Michelle Bradley (Sigourney Weaver de Ghostbusters et Avatar), pour leur fournir des robots policiers de type Scout. Ces derniers ont été imaginés par Deon Wilson (Dev Patel de Slumdog Millionaire et Lion), un jeune et brillant ingénieur, qui travaille et développe de son côté une intelligence artificielle. Alors qu'il rapporte une carcasse de robot chez lui, Deon est enlevé par des criminels, qui lui demandent de reprogrammer le robot, pour qu'il les aide à commettre des délits. Deon intègre dans le programme du Scout sa nouvelle intelligence artificielle. Le robot doit alors tout apprendre, comme un bébé. De son côté, Vincent Moore (Hugh Jackman de X-Men et The Greatest Showman), un ancien militaire travaillant à Tetravaal, souhaite voir s'effondrer le projet Scouts, afin que la police choisisse son projet de robot.

Very underrated movie. The character animation for Chappie is legendary, amazing talent.
One of the best robot movies ever, definitely a special movie
no, script and acting sucked balls. But had great cgi and design of robots.
Its fantastic, loved it since the first time I saw it, cant understand why people didnt like it, probably because they didnt understand the concept.
