Omg THANK YOU!! Can you make a longer video that shows how to do this with a few different angles?! I’ve been looking to restring my friend’s TOD10n the same way it arrived to her from SW - and even SW doesn’t have a video on its support pages. There are written instructions for restringing a classical guitar, but that’s not helpful for visual people. I called to ask for a video of the specific method their own techs use (because my friend paid for a setup), and they sent me a video from another music shop with an entirely different method.

How long did it take your TOD10n to come in? Im tryna get one but they’re all prebooked now, and I’m not sure how long it’s gonna take

I ordered mine back when it was first announced, which was like October of last year. I didn’t received mine until April so like 7 months. I don’t know if that’s how long it’ll take now to get now.

My wife ordered me one and it arrived like 2 days later. You just gotta catch them on those resupplies and keep an eye on it.

Maybe a dumb question but do you have to stretch them like steel strings?

Good question! You should. Nylon strings go out or tune pretty easily so stretching helps.

I don’t believe so. It’s probably not good for the neck.

Is it wiser to take the old strings off one at a time (and gradually replace them with new ones), or is taking them off all at once the same?

I thought the last 3 strings were steel on this guitar.

      Nope! All nylon!

@@RobertRosenbrook Mines just arrive today. The top 3 strings are actually steel. Only the bottom 3 are Nylon. At least that is how it is straight out of the box.

@@SourStrawberrys the bass strings are usually a wound nylon. They might look steel but are still nylon. Stoked to hear your guitar came in!

@@RobertRosenbrookit’s nylon wrapped in silver plated copper, but that’s with the stock D’Addario XTC45 strings. Don’t know how the neck would handle full metal strings but should be no trouble having unwound nylon.
