  • Back in April Greg Wittstock The Pond Guy had me install water plants at an Aquascape Water Feature in Naples, Florida. It has been about 10 weeks since the planting and I am meeting him there to see how it came out. After that I will show you the 450 foot berm on the back of my pond in Apopka, Florida that I am covering with Tropical Vines.

This was so inspirational! My husband and I are considering moving to your area from Boston for his work, and it is so good to see all the beautiful things I can grow there because leaving my established garden I've worked so hard on will be hard!
That Hong Kong Orchid that blooms in winter? WOW!!! 😍

So many beautiful flowers. I would love to see a video of flowering plants, and just plants, that can survive in Zone 8a & 8b. Also, interested in heavy shade loving plants. I have plumbago in my front yard. I have a flowerbed up next to my house. The bed is backed by my Ouse in one side and driveway on the other sides (drive curves around it). I could not get anything to grow there because it was direct sun and the soil gets super hot because of the house and drive. Plumbago thrives there and needs virtually no care. Added pluses for me is the deer hate, and the hummingbirds and butterflies love it. It freezes back in winter, but comes up from root in spring which keeps it from getting out of hand. It is the perfect plant for that spot.
Thanks for another great video on gorgeous plants. I am about ready to move to Florida. I live in Austin, TX on the edge of the Hill Country so I have loves of Rocky limestone and it gets hot in the summer, but we also get freezes a couple of times in winter.

More hibiscis for Kenan. His tortoises adore them.
He needs Moringa as well for the edible leaves and seed pods.
Amongst any sort of fruit trees. Like bog apple and strawberry trees.

Great channel and video Tom! I was wondering if you would consider making a video on landscaping with Florida native plants? Thanks!

It's mesmorizing this makes me wanna try and get some plants in my house and try to see if i can grow something! Also, do you have any tips or tricks for people up north like what we can plant and grow indoors that are good indoor plants but different than like a money tree or something? I would LOVE to get my hands on something beautiful to take care of but im always worried about winter and no sun :(

It's a flat area that you raise with soil, making a small hill of sorts.
