- Come along with us in the F14 Tomcat in DCS world. This video contains an air to air sortie with pilots and human rios walking a delicate line of communication and chaos. All footage is from a PVP server called Growling Sidewinder.

I love the Heat Blur Tomcat now if i could just learn to use it! Lots of tutorals and info which is a bit intimidating and overwhelming. Cant tell you how many times Ive flat spinned because I was screwing around. I have yet to recover from a flat spin, I wonder if the F-110's would fair any better than the TF-30's in a flat spin. This is an awesome video! VF-111 Sundowners 1990-92

Next time you are trying to VID witb the tv try having the rio switch to narrow fov mode might help. Fun video wish i could get a 2 ship with real rios more often. Cant seems to find 2 rios at the same time!

I wonder if an actual F-14A pilot thinks if this is real accurate or not, this should be interesting I guess there's still classified information on the technical side of the plane.

Hey, I’m looking the get into the 14 on DCS.... Would you recommend the two licensed version or the single license version for a beginner? I was thinking of working the Rio position just to more fully appreciate and understand the plane and it’s capabilities.
What do you mean?? Dual is a buddy discount. Its the same airplane bro
The dual licence is discounted if you have a friend with their own rig who would fly with you. You can buy just a single licence and switch between seats with "1" & "2" on the keyboard. Heatblur have added an AI Pilot "Iceman" who can fly while you practice controls in the RIO position. "Jester" is the AI RIO to assist us as the pilot. The F14 is a great high fidelity module, Heatblur have done an awesome job with it.

@@paulc1173 No worries. I do have a couple of videos up on UA-cam with the F14. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have BUT I don't really sit in the RIO seat. It's why I watched this video, I enjoy seeing people doing multi crew.

I have this F-14 simulator but Weapon selector switch doesn’t work with computer mouse and keyboard. I don’t know how to operate.
