  • First: I love this machine. BUT:
All works fine except one of the three infrared sensors.
I hope this can be fixed?! Write me if you have an idea.
    Thank you.

I had this problem also and i think ive got it working fine now. As one of the earlier comments mentioned, i folded the tiny square piece of sandpaper in half and gently sanded the hole in the track where the sensor is (i didnt bother taking it apart and just made sure i blew off all of the sawdust from the sensor). Also it seems to be sensitive to certain types of lighting so try changing the direction its facing or turning off other lights in the room. It works best when the room is dark. Hope this helps, its incredibly fun to play once all the sensors are functioning properly.

Thanks David. I'll try that. Concerning light: yes - I got issues when playing under direct light. But this little guy on the track at the backside is endless-triggering even in the dark - even if I 'shadow' the built in lights above. But big thanks anyway! ❤

      Yeah, it worked for me

Hello - I too am having this same problem. Going to paint inside wood of sensor black as it’s been suggested. Did anyone provide you additional info on sanding to help fix issue?
I’m also curious - my bottom right lane sensor doesn’t make noise when I trigger it which leads me to believe I have a problem there as well. What is this sensor supposed to do and how does it actually get triggered? It sits so high above the lane.

Yes thanks - took a dremel with sanding attachment and took a little off the back of the track to let the sensor sink further into the hole. Solved the problem. Now just have to figure out why the 1000 light works at startup but doesn;t work during scoring!

So you got this sensor to work properly? Congrats, I didn't. Instead I accidentally killed it, I assume I've damaged the built in wires. But - I'm not that unhappy now because it is really easy to get 1000 points, I almost get them everytimes I play and without this sensor this game (that is really fun to play) gets at least a little bit more challenging w/o this sensor. :D
Sorry to hear that your 1000 P. light doensn't work as it should. Unfortunately I have no idea what could cause that issue especially when it's working in the starting animation. Weird. Hope you get it fixed.

Yes it's working but it is *very* finicky about ambient light. I think it must be the position beneath its own leds but even walking past the machine when certain room lights are on can trigger it, so it's an issue related to the whole track/position/light/temperature whatever I think.THe 1000 point thing maybe I didn't understand correctly - when you get to 1000, the light doesn't light up until it's reset I think - it does light at the end of the celebration light show, but not immediately when you reach 1000.@@3D-PHASE

-- I should add it was confusing as when tested with teh track out of position it works flawlessly, then you snap the track back into place and it's a bit temperamental. But shaving the track did help.

To much light on the sensor will trigger it
Did you customized the top backcabinet?

Thank you. The sensor was looptrigggering even if protected from light.

Did you ever get this fixed? Can you share how if you did?

Unfortunately not. Some people had success by painting black color on the egdes of the sensor (on the wood!).

Paint the wood arround the sensor black, this helped me

I am having the same problem on the exact same sensor :/

Seems to be a common issue. The sunny side in my eyes: the goal to get 1.000 points is too easy anyway. Without this sensor it's a little more challenging. Love the game anyway. 😂😂

Solved it by painting the inside of the sensor hole matt black with acrylic paint.

I'm having the same exact issue. Will let you know if I figure anything out.

    • @TigSmoLeo

took it apart. the sensor works when detached from the ramp. Not sure if too sensitive or perhaps the overhead ramp needs to fit more securely. Will mess around with it some more tomorrow.

ok, I ended up filing down the wood ramp (to make it skinnier where the sensor goes) and it is now working as expected.Presumably the ramp itself must have been triggering the sensor.

@@TigSmoLeothank you very much!!! I'll try that out and will let you know if that helped. 👍

@@TigSmoLeo could you try to explain more in detail what you did? If it helps you could email me (e.g. for pictures or so). Would be so appreciated. My adress: andyweil@gmx.de
