I’m applying for accommodation and I really like the look of Hickling/ Barton but people are saying it’s quite quiet and a little bit dead.... and ngl i am quite a sociable person, what do you think ? Xx
Hiya Pheobe! I think people are right in saying Hickling and Barton is a little bit quite, however you could be the one to change that, if you're more of a social person. People still will have friends over and I'd definitely say that the kitchen in there are a lot nicer, but even if it turns out that Hicking and Barton stays quiet, it doesn't stop you from being sociable and visiting the flats of friends you make all over campus. Different cohorts of students bring a different vibe to accomodation each and every year, so just go with whatever you like the best and can afford! If you have anymore questions, feel free to drop me an email : koshesai.m@gmail.com xxx
Hii, some people are saying that the kitchens in constable terrace are all on the ground floor …. So if I’m on the top floor apparently I have to trek all the way downstairs to get milk..? How is that possible 😂
Hello!! I'll be so so honest, I haven't been in campus accommodation for a hot sec and I haven't been to constable terrace since they renovated the whole place so in alllll honesty I really don't know. But this is sounding very wild, and unlike UEA so I really doubt it's true😂
Ahhhh girl I hope you really enjoy it irrespective of it not being your first choice, I loved little old Paston House! In terms of no ovens, there literally aren't ovens anywhere on campus apart from Hickling and Barton as far as I'm concerned, so it means you may experiment with more foods? You just have to be creative!
Woohooo! Have you started looking for your flatmates? Noo I think 21 is first floor if I remember correctly, because its 19 and 20 which are on the ground floor! But apologies if you get there and it's ground floor, but I'm pretty sure! I'm glad you find the videos helpful though, if you need any help or have any questions, feel free to drop me an email!xo
