Hi Elle Really good video loved the doggo his so cute haha, I'm starting in september and I've picked campus en suite and didn't know which builiding was which this was super helpful, Hopefully see u round 🤙🏾
Emilea Bayfield - super excited for you!!! It depends what accommodation you look at, but I’m pretty sure if they’re shared bathrooms in a flat there is more than one! X
Hi I'm a new uea student starting my studies there in Jan. I noticed that in the accomodation there's a cushioned board or something of the sort around the head of some beds that's either red or blue. I wanted to ask what colour it is for Constable terrace accomodation?
Jeyashree Alexander Thank you! Yeah there is quite a few laundry places around campus where you set up a card with your uni account and top it up in £5s to pay! It’s quite expensive and i don’t know if prices have changed but when I was first year it was around £2.60 a wash and £2.80 a dry! hope that helps!!!
Jeyashree Alexander so me personally I lived quite close to home so took a lot back🤣 but I also brought some hand washing stuff and washed a lot of underwear, tops and light things in my sink which worked really well and was quick and easy!! I never used the dryers due to being too expensive so I would dry my clothes on an airer in my flat which also worked well and was a lot cheaper!! I’m also sure there are lots of laundry places in the city but I don’t know if they would be much cheaper!!!
ahh good luck! I think they recommend against it and do say you’re not allowed fairy lights due to a fire risk but a lot of people have them and I never got called up on it, so it’s fine as long as they’re safe! You can put stuff on the walls as long as they don’t mark so I just used blue tac x
Hiiii, I am not entirely sure about this one but I think all accommodations can be sociable if you make it and as it is on campus you will be really close to everywhere and easily accessible to other places! x
good question! I will do a video in the future on this but it really depends what you are in to. LCR is obviously the best as it is on campus and sooo convenient for students! But I also love Karma, Loft and Mantra!
Ahh thank you and congrats on getting in, hope to see you around campus!! Brown house is one of the ensuite campuses and is one of the smaller buildings. I've never been there or had much experience but I have had friends that lived there and they all got on really well with it. Good luck for move in x
this was really helpful, thank you! i’m staying in hickling this year so it’s nice to hear from someone that’s lived there

One question!
Is there a laundry service ? or other options(prices included if possible)

Student life! Haha:)
Thankyou for replying Elle!
Starting this year but I was wondering are you allowed to put stuff on the walls like fairy lights and posters and if so how do you have to it?
ahh good luck! I think they recommend against it and do say you’re not allowed fairy lights due to a fire risk but a lot of people have them and I never got called up on it, so it’s fine as long as they’re safe! You can put stuff on the walls as long as they don’t mark so I just used blue tac x
Nursing Life of Elle thank you so much that really helped
Hi, on UEA website it says there is also en suite campus plus. do you know anything about this accommodation i.e is it sociable etc?
Hiiii, I am not entirely sure about this one but I think all accommodations can be sociable if you make it and as it is on campus you will be really close to everywhere and easily accessible to other places! x
Hi, I also have a video about accommodation where I discuss this 😊
Hi, super random question but do the windows open in the Hickling & Barton accom rooms?
hey! Do I need to pay a deposit at en suite village?
where is good for nightlife norwich? x
good question! I will do a video in the future on this but it really depends what you are in to. LCR is obviously the best as it is on campus and sooo convenient for students! But I also love Karma, Loft and Mantra!
Any experience of brown house at all ? I just got an offer to live there this year, thanks for the video it was very useful 👍🏻

Is accommodation options altered/ limited for certain courses eg nursing x
Yes but only slightly for health science students. On the website it will explain all options that are open. x
Nursing Life of Elle ahh thankyou x
Hey, I also have a video about accommodation where I discuss which accommodation health care students cannot have 😊
Beth Elise brilliant thankyou!!
Thanks for this!
Do you know anyone is standard campus who can share pictures or videos? Haven’t seen any yet.
En suite campus plus?
Hey, I also have a video about UEA accommodation where I discuss en suite campus plus in quite a lot of detail 😊
Hi, I’m staying in Crome Court, do you know what that’s like?
And I’m undergrad?
Is crome only postgrad? x
Yes mostly, with a few exceptions I think! x
