The Harvard-Kennedy School have pinched this Professor from the orbit of the University of Oxford, and I can understand why. His commentary is so responsive, pertinent and lucid that he is a gift for any interviewer. His expertise in his own field makes him a fluently confident interviewee and contrary to some trollish remarks I have read here he is absolutely on the money. China surely does not want an Empire in the conventional sense but wants a lot of smart power or influence. It is in step with Russia concerning authoritarianism. But we must hopefully believe that Xi has imposed a red line Putin may not cross by outlawing the use of even tactical nuclear weapons.

Interesting. Well before this video, anyone following all of this would have heard something about relations between Russia, and China. Months ago, another channel argued that Russia would be the junior partner in that relationship, but I don't know what that means. Maybe it means what this video implies, and Russia taking direction from China.
