WWE Alternate Bookings: Sid Justice wins the Royal Rumble 92

- Sid Vicious aka. Sid Justice (and later Sycho Sid) had it all, though most fans remember his botched WCW interviews and injuries later in his career, he was someone Vince McMahon wanted from WCW and signed him in in 1991 with the promise of giving him Hulk Hogan's spot. WWF fans were at awe, his powerbomb was greater than the leg drop, and the young man even towered over Hulk Hogan, who would be his opponent at Wrestlemania 8. Unfortunately his run didn't last long as shortly thereafter Sid would quit the WWF only to return in 1995.
Here we attempt an alternate run for Sid (though a heel) as he capture the WWF Championship at the Royal Rumble 1992, and staying on in the company till 1993. Just how will he respond to the Ultimate Warrior? What about Ric Flair in the WWF? Who will ever replace him in the top spot?

Sid accomplished more with his eyes closed than 90% of wrestlers could dream of
That would've been a better year than we were forced to endure.
Sid was awesome
Better than what we got.
At WM 9 it would have been Sid vs. Hulk Hogan for the title ;)
It feels strange, and i liked Sid, but the reality wasn`t so bad ;)
I liked Flair vs. Savage and Warrior vs. Savage... and Yoko vs. Hart felt also right at WM 9.
Personally, i loved to see the Warrior on top - from Summer Slam 1992 till (after) WM 9.
Hogan should have turned heel at the end of Royal Rumble 92.
Very good story,I might have kept watching if this took place
Thanks!
@@intheplot2241can you do an David Von Erich one where he goes to WWF in the 80s
I grew up, and WITNESSED BRETS TRIUMPH AFTER TRIUMPH, FIVE TIME WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. THE GREATEST TECHNICAL WRESTLER OF ALL TIME!
LONG LIVE THE HITMAN, BRET HART, AND THE LEGACY OF THE HART FOUNDATION!
*QUE BRET'S MUSIC*
Sid would of been a way better pick than a deep rooted WCW Wrestler Rick Flair but it never happened he was gone after WM 8 so keep dreaming here...
Absolutely zero chance any of this could have happened due to McMahon's babyface unbeatable champion philosphy at the time, but fun to watch this.
He did accept it in 93 though 😅
Sid could be as big as SCSA, HBK, Taker and Hitman
What are you talking about?,he was big....
The main event at WM 8 should have been Hogan vs Flair. While the quality of the match would have been average, this is the matchup that fans had been wanting to see for years.
If Sid won the title at Rumble he'd need a strong enough of an opponent. Taker would be a good balance but we don't want the streak to end so quickly, unless Taker wins by DQ and you get Hogan and Flair going after the so-called "Real World" title. Hogan wins, takes it and dismantles it.
I think that would have been a reasonable scenario. Two problems with the Sid/Undertaker match. 1. The streak wasn't even thought about that early. 2. Vince at that time always had a babyface world champion coming out of WrestleMania.
Hogan-Flair didn't work to WWF fans at the time. You have to remember that the WWF was a steroid bonanza at the time. The formula was Hogan going against the next monster. Flair was much smaller than Hogan and the WWF fans weren't buying it on the house shows, which is why it was changed(according to Bruce Prichard).
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
This was better than what happened.
I enjoy this alternative take. If you haven't done so already, can you re-write one of my childhood wrongs, and rebook Wrestlemania 9, even as a Bret Hart I'm okay with either a Yokozuna or Bret win.
I have always thought Sid would be a great antagonist in some surfer movie.
More like the Debo of a West Coast surfing movie 🍿
Sid should have won it
Hogan v. TAKER shouldve headlined with jake vs macho. Both stories were scrapped way too early. Flair vs Hogan could've come after.
Rumor has it that hogan vs taker was always the plan for wm8 but the terrible interview by hogan at the arsenio hall show screwed it up so they had to quicken things up
@@intheplot2241 just imagine they did the gravest challenge at mania instead of the 91 survivor series. flairs involvement wouldve set up a huge blood feud down the road.
What if Randy savage never left wwf endless Elizabeth return 1994
You need to pronounce the wrestlers name right
Comma-La 😂😂😂😂
i would of had roddy piper win the royal rumble 1992 and win both titles and have roddy piper vs ric flair at wm8
Roddy winning would've been epic, but he would have to defend both titles or give up the IC title and face Flair. Sadly he was on his way out of the WWF, he could drop it to Flair but don't think Vince would've been a fan of having Flair, a former JCP/WCW guy win the title at a Wrestlemania.
@@intheplot2241 if roddy piper had stayed he could of beat ric flair at wrestlemania 8 and stayed champion then lose the belt to bret hart at summerslam 1992
😂😂😂😂😂😂
