I have one of these/similar the kingttu g6.. it's a heavy bike, the suspension for the rear is not great, so I upgraded that to a coil suspension. Had it since late 2021, no issues except my mistake of leaving it out in sand storms for a month. A good cleanup and was back to normal. Def recommend if you're not trying to go on crazy jumps or harsh trails
Hey bro, hi from italy, i like your videos (i saw your unboxing one now too), i'm looking for a similar folding mtb to take it on trains too (if folded, it 's free) but one thing that really escapes me is it doesn't have a stand below the bottom bracket, so there's no way that it can stand still, when folded, am i right?
So unless one just lays it straight down to the ground (like in the boot of a car), there's really the risk to hit the ground with the chainrings and chain and damage it.
I doubt that if one set one crank and pedal down, the folded b8ke will stand (at least, my current 20" doesnt. But mine has a superlong seatpost which is meajt to slide down and work as a bike stand then).
So what do you think?
I mean, sure it's a great bike and all efforts are wroth having a big bike when unfolded. But just genuinely askin'
Have a good time!
Thank you! You are correct, although it folds, it doesn't fold completely, and will not stand by it self. You will need some sort of support to keep it upright, unless you lay it down on the ground like you mentioned. I hope that helps and stay safe.
(Yes, good feedback and I thank you, now I think one can actually find some way - block the wheels from spinning, with a string or strap, and use a double foot kickstand, but last night (now it's morning in italy) i spotted that one guy actually flips it upside down and the handlebar props it lile a stand. With some "bullhorn bar ends" or so, it might be a clever trick as the grips won't get dirty on the ground. Well anyway, just for the record, best to you and have good fun!😌🙏👋👋)
I don't like the way it rides. It is heavy and cumbersome to load in my civic and it is too short.
what kind of shifters is it?
It is labeled as Shimano shifters but it feels cheap.
