My gripe about TABS is that whenever we hold the guitars the low E String is always at the top from our POV so I don't get why the low E String is always the bottom line and not the top line
It makes more sense from a sheet music standpoint where your lower string which typically plays the lower notes is at the bottom. The real gripe we should have with tabs is how unclear rhythm is. You're just expected to know the exact timing of every note even through say a crazy solo
you forgot to mention its upside down, so the bottom line isnt "e" its "E" (1st string if you count from top to bottom, also if you count from top to bottom you should get used to counting from bottom to top, so the thickest string is the 6th string)

When there's an x, you just have to hold ur finger on the string and pick, but don't fully push down on it. It's used a lot in rage against the machine songs

Bass is just without the bottom B and E and everything is an octave lower. The timing is the biggest difference
