I recently picked this set up for £250 (it was on a great discount thanks to Lego giving a UK company exclusive selling rights), and it is absolutely amazing. Fig quality is good, the display is nuts, and the added functions shows that Lego went the extra mile with this one!
Great video and great set! I got it when it came out. Cinderhowl does have one serious flaw: the ball joint used at the top of the neck and for the tail where it meets the body doesn’t have enough friction for the weight of the appendages. As a result, the head and tail droop. Hopefully, LEGO will eventually redesign this joint, so it’s significantly stiffer. That said, it is a very impressive set and I agree that it’s worth getting.
The monsters and minis are the highlight. I personally think the lions castle and brick link forestmens fortress are better but it adds to my castle collection with all three being the big pieces.
Thats an epic castle collection! I definitely like having the monsters and minis. I just think they would look amazing as single molded pieces. It would be great to start a collection of monsters from D&D.
Not including hogwarts castle (which is mini scale I don’t count it) I have 1 castle set. And that’s the mountain fortress brick link for early this year

GREAT video! And, yes, would love a quick breakdown of game play!
Thanks! Thanks for the feedback. Very interesting that you can actually play a game of D&D with the set.

I do agree with you on that. The jaw wasn’t attached solid and I did notice a bit of the droop at the joints. Good call!
100% should pick it up if you like castle.
Great advice!
This is one of my favorite sets. It was fun to build and looks really good.
I always enjoy your videos, keep up the great work!
Such a cool set! I’m hoping they come out with some more D&D. Really appreciate that!

Awesome! You will really like this set. Hopefully we will see a discount soon on it.
Breakdown of gameplay is needed pleaseeeeee
I have this awesome set. Do you think its worth getting a second one?
You failed to mention the alternative female option for Merry Rumwell.
Sorry factual error: Dwarf women also have beards.
Good to know! So you actually leave the beard on and just add the hairpiece I guess then.

The mountain fortress is any amazing set to have. Good for you! You will enjoy this set as well if you decide to buy at some point.
