Installing F30 BMW Gear Selector on E90 - Upgrade

Upgrading the stock bmw e90 328i gear selector to a f series f30 bmw gear selector for a more modern look. Removing the old stock gear selector and installing the newer modern gear selector knob

It stays on, on the gear selector trim like oem. It also stays on, on the aftermarket f30 style gear selector. May very depending which company you get the after market gear selector from

I just install this on a e90 2011 and the light stays on I’m scare to drain the battery ldk

Too bad it doesn’t function the same as OEM
