Wow, you have gorgeous views! Also I'm planning on getting this drone because it seems to be the best thing you can get for 75 dollars. Thanks for the review!
@@DadRandom Oh wait.... Oh, I am actually so sorry about this. I'm not actually Mr. Beast I just made this as a troll for my friend I am so sorry! I didn't notice. really sorry about that. I subscribed with all my accounts though, you have a fun channel! Mb for that
I came across your video and watched it before I purchased my first drone and thanks to you. The experience has been nothing but positive with my HS 110d….. I cannot agree with you more that to really enjoy this drone is to fly when it is dead calm… Thank you
I just paid $93 for mine from Amazon. I am about to take it out this weekend and fly it. Thanks for your video, it really breaks everything down and simplifies it for someone like me who is just getting started.
Been looking for a quad for the kid's birthday and found the HS110D was recommended pretty highly for entry/pre-teen level first timers. After seeing the reviews, and specifically this video, we're going to get him one. We also both have 3D printers and I found a bunch of STL files for printing custom prop guards and such, which I think he'll really like. Thanks for the great review, really enjoyed it from start to finish! :)
Great video Chris, my HS 170 is great fun even outdoors but with VLOS only and not knowing which way I was pointing I had to just cut the props in a safe area (Trees mostly!!!!) I got it back by continually disconnecting and re-connecting to hear the beep and motors trying to start (no Buzzer) but I got it back :)
is it possible to service these? I flew mine into a bush, shut it down, but one rotor wouldn't stop turning. I took out the battery, and plugged it back in and the same rotor would start spinning again, without it even turned on! I tried it again today, and when I pressed engine start only 3 props started up, with the one that wouldnt stop yesterday being the one that now wont start. It was so cheap Im not too worried, but would rather not send it to the landfill if I dont have to. I bought a DJI FPV, and decided to buy this to get the feel of drone flying. If I cant repair this Im thinking of the next step up Holy Stone with GPS. Do you think its a little more durable as well? Cheers
Dude for a toy drone and 1080p I actually like what I am seeing might grab one for my Son to get started off with. So far he using my Parrot Anafi which has a broken gimbal but flies.
+808-State break can fly in and outside. Wind will carry it away, but FPV is real good. Keep up the FPV learning. Practice, took me 6 months of getting out and ripping it.
so... ifi just wanted to fly without fpv everything works like basic beginner quad...just bind and set gyros and fly... ? PS if it gets to far and you lose oriention does it have a button that brings quad to the transmitter??? i know its not a gps drone... thanks for sharing
okay i see it does not have return from home after watching end of your video... still a great value... 10 years ago a drone like this would be $250 easy... $60 very cheap... they probably have a brushless version with return function for only a few bucks more... thanks
I just ordered an HS110D and the FPV latency on my LG velvet is between one a two seconds constantly. Anyone know if if this is normal or am I doing something wrong? As an experienced RC pilot, I can say for sure that I'd have crashed a LOT of (more) airplanes if what I was seeing while flying them happened 2 seconds ago, lol :)
Essentially, these quads require constant calibrations. If you buy one, make sure you buy dancing shoes too. You will always be doing the calibration dance.

+Mr Beast yes, it’s a great fun kid friendly drone. Watch out for days with a ton of wind. This bird 🦅 is really light. Fly it indoors, for sure. 😎
Check out my flying pig 🐷 drone review. 😜 or buy a “Beast Worthy” Expensive Drone and crash it into something cool like a ginormous heap of jello 😜🤪
@@DadRandom Haha, I see what you did there! For sure will check them out.

@@omkar7795 yeah this dude's the goat, shared with my friends. Also looking to buy this drone. Hope he blows up!
Got me this drone brand new at a thrift store for $24.99… not bad huh!??! It flies pretty smooth and no problems with it so far! Thanks for the video

Buy good quality and the drone will give you tons of fun flights

Great starter drone. Any quad with brushless motors and replacement parts is good

I rely heavily on the video feed to correct my flying

You may be able to find parts on EBay. Look it up. Most brushless drones have repair parts
You probably fried a motor. Brushed quads are easy to break.
so are the leds work well at night??? do they have different colors for front and back...? thanks for sharing.
Yes, but keep it close to you

@@DadRandom I m on week 2 got pretty good with it already. Full manual not a problem
Awesome vid! Very helpful! Im thinking about getting this one off Amazon for $109.99 and this vid definitely is very helpful whether I should get it!
I will be testing the GPS version coming out soon! You may wait a few weeks. I will get my test unit soon.
I JUST GOT ONE OFF AMAZON got it charged up now can't wait to start
It’s fun. I still have mine. Just be careful of high winds
Great video! Does it have live stream from phone to where I can save from phone without sim card from drone?
Yes it does
@@DadRandom thank you 😃👍
Which type USB Cable?
How do you know when it done charging
Thanks. What max SD card size does it accept?
128
64gb class 10
Not a bad little drone.
Holystone seems to keep consistent with both improved products and their price below 300 on their top line gear
There's a slot in the back of the camera module. Is it for a SD card?
+don semo yes it is! 😎👌🏻
I have that exact one
What’s the difference between mode one and mode two and what’s tap fly
+Brandon speed 1 and speed 2

I would consider a Mavic mini se if you are really looking to get into drones. Best starter drone.
Does it have a gimble

+madhtrr that’s a ton of latency! 🧐🤔
Thx☝️☝️👍
The antenna of my drone went off how do I fix it
Will need to split the case and resolver the antenna. Be sure to use the old one. If not, you will. Will need to find another 2.5ghz antenna
My dji tello always lost control, why?😭
What sd card needed?
Any class 10 card will work SD 32-64gb. The video is not 4K so most cards will work
@@DadRandom ok thanks it's just that others said it might not be able to read anything over 16 well
I have this drone. Maybe i make a mistake but: only a little wind and the drone fly away. Very difficult do fly. :-(
Wind makes it challenging
Whats the air time for this?
Like about 39 min
8 minutes
Wait, so if this drone is 3d flip, what would 2d flip look like? Lol 👍😃
I would wanna buy it but the battery
How many miles can go ?
500 feet
You didn't take and show us any pics?!
I will be testing the new model adding a GPS next week!
17:25 DUCK!!!
+Sunrise Water Media eagle
More stable than the Gooney Bird! LOL
+Dan Zuelch yes it is.
I got it for 95$
Holy Stone drones will not fly if you don't calibrate them correctly and he didn't cover that part which is very essential.
🤨
