Pau plays DW drums, Remo drum skins, Sabian cymbals, and Vic Firth sticks. Dany plays PRS, Gibson Explorer, and Manson Oryx guitars. Ale plays a five string custom Spector Bass with the color (Ale’s Inferno) designed by her. There is a signature bass in the works. Pau is sponsored by Sabian. Dany is sponsored by PRS. Ale is sponsored by Spector. Ale and Dany are also sponsored by Orange and the whole band is sponsored in InEarz.
Nice Reaction! There's a video you might be interested in with Pau. It's called The Warning Pau's Rig Rundown. First she talks about the laptop she operates for all of the backing tracks and then she goes over her drums, cymbals and sticks.
Did they ever upload Pau's Big Rig Rundown to their UA-cam channel or TheWarningAmry channel or is this the only one? ua-cam.com/video/5yry5J1D5ec/v-deo.htmlsi=Hc4vfk_C_zPI6Aml
For an older TW song from the Teatro show with a full band outro jam try Survive => ua-cam.com/video/Q1COdeNiBA8/v-deo.html You've mentioned drumming styles (methods) in a previous video, curious if you can tell what style/method Pau has been taught.
Often Pau sets her phone up behind her when performing live and streams it into Instagram. Some fans have captured those and put them on youtube. A couple times they've been combined with footage and sound from in front of the stage recorded by another fan. They can be fun to watch.
Thanks for teaching about the hi-hat clutch. Never knew that. Now I'll be watching live shows to see if/when she uses it. Good breakdown on the fills too.
Very nice... What's cool about Pau's drumming is she doesn't try to make one believe she's good by doing tricks with sticks. No twirling, bouncing sticks to catch them tricks or any other nonsense. She shows off pure technique, style, her vocals while drumming skills, even some musical /computer technology skills, which she uses to control the effects for the band /show. She has 3 brains and they're all multitasking....what a great "get down to business" drummer..she even has her famous"POW-BELL" 🤟🎶☮️
There are some videos in which you can get a better look at the drums. I think that the video for Evolve is better than any live performance I've seen when it comes to getting a good look at the best drumming moments of the song. While the MTV VMA performance may just be the best live performance of the song of their best live performance ever, it does not feature all of Pau's best drum fills.
All of the videos are directly from The Ladies... The initial videos are exactly what they wanted us to see as the album came out. The personal studio versions are perfect just in case the videos get blocked. And, the live concert videos are exactly what they want us to hear through all of their changes since the start... I dont see why anyone has to call a, b, or c some kind of perfect ??? They are all freaking perfect !!! Let the people who chose to do the songs decide just what they want to use... I get sick of the this is perfect or better that one or this one... Cheesenrice stfu... Every one of them is perfect for the time... Sorry that's my opinion... ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Hello, please react to Paulina when she was 10 years old playing my life wolud suck cobus version excellent your reactions the warning I love them ❤❤❤❤
This is one of the things that I love about Pau's progression as a drummer, she now uses the toms and especially the snares much more and only uses the cymbals to highlight. To me drummers often use the cymbals way too often as a crutch and not as an accent, which to me is what they should be used for. Just my opinion.
I get your viewpoint, but idk how it’s a crutch. You play what feels and sounds right. When a drummer isn’t generic is when they stand out. I’m not saying generic drummers are bad either. They play what is required to fit the music. Genre of music makes a huge difference too, obviously. Just my opinion.
@@AlTheKiller702Maybe it's just me, but to me the sound of cymbals since it is high pitched and sustained, does not work well when constantly used, it works when used to accent or highlight, but not when hit every beat or every other beat, only when used once a bar or two. I would exclude the open hi-hat, as it is sounds very different.
@@reactionsaccount3955 My brother actually has the same opinion as you with overuse of the cymbals. I could be completely wrong, but I think it’s because sometimes people are scared to try something different so they stick to what they know. And again, I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, but it fits in most cases. I’m not going to lie though, I’m biased towards heavy cymbal usage, but that’s because of the music I listen to. It’s more aggressive so the constant cymbals work to portray the energy of the song if that makes sense. Not sure how “heavy” your taste in music is, but if you’re up for it, I would suggest taking a listen or two to “The Seventh Trumpet” by August Burns Red. Matt Greiner is one of my favorite drummers of all time and this is the song that got me into them when I hated and I really do mean hated harsh vocals. Now I listen to that kind of music every day haha Also, I put heavy in quotation marks, because I’m bad at labeling music into genres so I just kinda have an “easy”, “medium” and “hard”, which correlates to “rock”, “metal/heavy metal” and “death/black metal.”
Not sure what's going on in your latest video. I'm trying to respond to someone regarding their gear sponsorships, and my post keeps getting deleted. I made a new comment, and that disappeared too.
Very strange, not sure why it deletes the comments. I would like to let you and everyone know, I never delete any comments so it is something youtube is doing absolutely. This one made it through fortunately :) Hope you're well.
@DRUMNERD Wierdest thing. I just commented that if you go to the Orange website and search for The Warning, there's literally a photo of them playing the MTV VMA'S, and when I go back it's gone, and I retyped it several times with the same result.
@@RussInCanada strange stuff that, I wonder if the orange amp company had anything to do with it or it is our ruthless overlords at UA-cam who decide what we see and say 🤔 Wonder if this will even be seen.
@DRUMNERD I'm wondering if it isn't a UA-cam glitch. I just had it happen somewhere else. Posted a comment on a reaction, channel responds, and then my responses to him keep disappearing.
Thanks for the reaction and education as always. TW are something special.

Great job Mr. NERD !! Please do more The Warning!!
“Get your head out of the gutter”…. You did it again!😅😂. And the you follow up with “so you smack it with your stick”! Dude!

Choke: Una voz potente de Dany ,un excelente riff y tremendos rellenos de bateria de Pau, The Warning excelencia en rock
Another good one. Pau is fascinating to watch.
Great reaction! Love drums, and love The Warning❤
Always enjoy reactions by legit musicians...great learning experience!

She’s actually playing a double stroke ghost note. A buzz is what a drummer does at a circus when someone is about to do something spectacular.
Both easy and enjoyable to do. Buzz rolls happen outside of the circus though and they are similar. Be well.
You should always go with live performances. Particularly the live sessions have great audio.

Why? They are also excellent in the studio versions.
