I can attest to his comment. As a rescue director I still jokingly tell my dogs they are going back to the shelter if they keep it up. Knowing darn well that I’m the shelter owner and they will still be my problem 😂
he's turning into that old turkish folkstory of a man pushing a boulder up a hill and having it fall down just as he gets to the top every day for eternity
Hey Hasan, idk if you'll see this. But here's how to fix the poop problem. This is the training they do for guide dogs. They train you to say "Do your business" but I personally say "Go potty" to my dog. Say this every time Kaya goes potty. And after she finishes give her a treat. After doing this for a while say it while you're on your walk with her. After she starts to correlate pooping with "Go potty" she'll eventually be able to go potty on command. I use this for both pee and poo but you can use it for whatever you need. It's great for things like storms, natural disasters, emergency situations and also just convenience. Obviously if they don't have to go they won't, but if they do it makes things quick and easy.
i actually taught my gsd mix to do this. i don’t have a yard at my place so i need to walk him in order to go potty. i live in ca and we had huge rain storms earlier in the year. my dog koda would sometimes take forever to go poop so i began associating me saying “go poop” whenever he went potty because i didn’t want to be out in the rain for a crazy long time. it eventually worked and i can say the phrase and he’ll go shortly after
You’re just about to enter the jerk adolescent stage and it’ll last a while because she’s an extra large breed, they can take up to 2 years to fully mature. There’ll be a lot of seemingly regressing, pushing back from authority. But stay steady in your training even if it doesn’t feel like it’s working. She will be absorbing that repetition, if you encourage the wanted behaviors and enforce expectations consistently through this more difficult time it will become engrained and she’ll come through this jerk stage a well trained dog. Just take deep breaths and stay the course.
nah the teenager phase of raising a dog is real. i didn’t realize until i got my first dog. he’s over 2 years old now so he’s def chilled out and he’s pretty well-trained but dear god, the 6 month to 2 year range was awful
The feet laying is so cute, my dog used to do that so I got her a comfy chair to sit in next to me while I was on the computer. If I was there, she was there 💖
Its been so interesting checking in on kaya because i also have a large puppy almost rhe same exact age. Hes a pyranees/german shorthair pointer mix, and has a very similar personality to kaya. Arlo is very sweet, but gets very upset if hes left alone. Only barks when he wants to express something specific, although he has a lot of opinions, ao sometimes he barks often. He fluctuates between perfectly well trained, to being an absolute menace when he thinks its play time. Idk, just a lot of similarities, at the same age, and the same time.
I have a kid named kaia (superior spelling), whose already a little afraid of hasan bc of his yelling, but if she’s in the room with me when stream is on & Hasan yells “Kaya”!!, she’ll literally jump. But she loves Kaya, I think Hassan’s dog dad arc is warming her up to him.
Oh, hasan, buddy. Rookie mistake. Regardless of whether you let the dog poop in the yard or not, you absolutely gotta walk em on a leash. Even if its just to walk around the back yard. If you let it go for too long, youll never be able to walk her in public. Also, you should be walking her in public as much as possible at this age. I know im not talking to hasan, someone forward my comment to him. Thanks, love you bye.
Thats Dumb, Just keep walking them until they pee and poop, bring drinks and food for your dog When they do pee and poop give them a treat and encouragement then do the same the next day, keep on doing it until they figure out that peeing and pooping outside is okay He also needs to be a little strict with the dog when they pee and poop in the house, drag them so that they can see it, and make it known with your body language that you are unhappy, speak with a stern voice, and a deeper tone but don't yell or scream, if you yell or scream the dog might become afraid to pee and poop around you
@@xblade11230yeah no offence to Hassan but a 20 minute walk for a dog her size is literally nothing. Edit to add* walking is so important for dogs to get used to new environments, smells, etc. it’s so so so good for them.

Crazy to think back on the little potato of a pup she was back in April. 😭❤
I don't want either of them to get hurt, but also I can't wait for that chair to break on camera.
Gonna be a 100+ lb lapdog. Should have named her Kuma.
"Kaya" also works, it means "boulder" in Turkish

Normal puppy behavior. Giant Dog
16:11 That chair is not gonna survive in a few weeks😂

The crazy thing is that she is baby and very big😂

9 out of 10 times when he gets up from his chair and you see his pants it's some unhinged design and/or color
Two pop accidents don’t forget the one in the H3 studio.
She's so babygurl
Seriously think she has way more St. Bernard energy
I honestly expected her to be kind of aloof bc of the tibetan mastiff + chow chow in her but she’s a total lovable goofball

Hahaha giant puppy ownership is humbling even for Hasan

She’s such a teddy bear 🥰😍
the loaf of bread has evolved into a demon
She makes Hasan look normal sized.

The urge to pet is strong
Enormous bean 😍😍😍
lmao...with everything compiled it sounds less like her being a good dog, and more him trying to remember to be a good dad 😂
Are there recent pictures of Rae with Kaya? 😅 i feel like that would look insane with how big Kaya has gotten
Awn she’s so loved
AYO ME AND KAYA SHARE A BIRTHDAY ❤🎉
nice edit: "She's so f-HEAVY"
I never threatened my dog! 😂
She’s such a big baby❤️❤️

My parents never threatened to put me up for adoption.😢 I thought they loved me.
Jesus, 6 months old and she’s already the same weight as my GSD who’s 4 years old.
thank you for the pupdates video 💖
13:26 she’s just a baby 😂
I wonder what breed she is
She's a mix of Tibetan mastiff, saint bernard, and chow chow. Hasan did an embark panel to find out her breed makeup back when he first got her.

"I've used the bleach" yeah the ammonia will encourage her to pee
@Strusey bleach doesn't have ammonia, bleach and ammonia make mustard gas
And I'm pretty sure dogs don't secrete ammonia. It's too strong for mammals.
