I came armed with facts, dates, timelines, all backed up with books and articles that were banned in the usa. My challenger said ‘We are the chosen people by G-d and have a right to the land. It was probably the first time I publicly ‘side eyed’ most dramatically.
Was your challenger a J*wish Zionisst? Do you remember what clothes they usually wore, a cotton and a non-cotton material in the same time? Did they ever eat meat and drink milk during the same meal? Both these are just few of many exemples of completely forbidden behaviour, to the J*ws and by the Torah.

They’re badass for this. I’m proud of them like they’re my own kids. ❤ My Austrian great-grandparents and grandparents also stood against Hitler during the war. My great-grandmother was actually awarded a medal of bravery for saving the lives of many people because of her ability to speak several European languages which allowed her to communicate and negotiate with officers. The town this particular instance took place in honoured her every year until she died. She raised her two daughters alone during that war (her first husband was killed while she was pregnant with her second daughter, my Omi). She fled with them, stood with them, protected them and anyone else she could. My grandmother refuses to let that be for nothing. She welcomes and loves all people as if they are her family. It makes her sick to see what’s happening in the world still to this day, as if we have learned nothing.
Did your great grandparent seek refuge in Palestine after the war or did they decide to stay in Austria ? Nothing biased or a trick question . Just curious.
You do realize he was saying Westbank settlers, who Ethan called terrorists, also have babies, as in there are still innocents even there. Ethan was calling first thought vile for less of a violent classification than Ethan himself made.@@jameslopez9661

In Israel, I’ve heard the opposite is true. The generation coming up leans much further to the right.
@@jmm6257while that is the case generally, I think part of that is the country as a whole is more right wing, and there’s less time to learn an alternative to the propaganda
@@jmm6257 Social conditioning and brainwashing
These two are incredible. Hope they realise peace in their lives.
These kids are really an inspiration! I enjoyed this conversation thoroughly.
As an adult in the Israeli radical left I am so proud of them. THIS is "hasbara"
these people are so honorable
this was SO GOOD! one of the best interviews ive seen in a while. so informative
My middle school did a exchange program from tulsa to tel aviv. Ive been hoping there were kids I met who weren’t being drafted by the IDF🙏🏼
these kids are so articulate! props to them
These young people give me hope, which I haven't had since 10/7. I had no idea anyone in Israel refused military service. Bless You Hasanabi! for interviewing them.
youll notice these kids state clearly that there was no excuse for what happened on oct 7th . not least because this act of "resistance" you are revolutionary larping about led directly to all the awful destruction that is happening right now - as Hamas planned and expected. Weird idols you have.
@FrogLehane I don’t follow what you are saying at all. Maybe read the comment I replied to more carefully. “Haven’t had this much hope since 10/7” - the original commenter idolizes Hamas. I didn’t criticise the kids.
@@riccles8331You need to work on your reading comprehension. They didn't say they supported 10/7 or that 10/7 gave them hope. Nor did they say "this much hope", which changes the implication of the sentence. If anything, they are suggesting that they lost hope on 10/7 and they haven't had any since.
@@jerrodshack7610 true
@@riccles8331 the awful destruction that was caused because of israeli atrocities and policies, you mean? israel saw the attack coming a year before it happened, and were warned by egypt before the attack, yet israel did nothing. weird, eh?

We need more young people like this.
I secularly pray for Tal, he’s been arrested today.
Very proud of both of you. I am curious as to the amount of being ‘chosen’ and that’s why one has the ‘right’.
I ask this because my first debate on this occupation was in the 11th grade History class in 1976.
These kids got me so inspired I’m choked up, for real… Love and solidarity to you guys, and your movement! I will look into how I can donate the little bit I can afford to donate. Be strong, comrades!

There"s still Hope.Praying for their safety👏.
Their young generations know what is right and what is wrong. Good that they realize about the occupation and wanted to distance themselves from it.
wow 17 and 18, its great to see this
Integrity has a costs, one which can never be quantified.
Tal & Ella are true heros, they have moral and beliefs and I wish them the best 💓💓
I'm no believer in the weird guy in the sky, buuut, if there is someone out there that watches over us, please look after these true brave students. They, and all like them are our only hope for our future
They’re badass for this. I’m proud of them like they’re my own kids. ❤
My Austrian great-grandparents and grandparents also stood against Hitler during the war.
It makes her sick to see what’s happening in the world still to this day, as if we have learned nothing.
omg hi fellow österreicher*in slay
Did your great grandparent seek refuge in Palestine after the war or did they decide to stay in Austria ? Nothing biased or a trick question . Just curious.

Thank you for the excellent program. The two kids are so bright, seeing such young people bring hope to me in such dark times we are living through. Greetings from Turkey.
Wow being so young and brave, beautiful human beings! Wish them the best! Solidarity!
May Allah bless and protect these Israeli heroes of conscience.
Kudos to the parents of these beautiful young activists, who have been raised to form own opinions and support them in their endeavours.
This is such an important interview. This gives a perspective one rarely sees.
The White Rose comes to mind. May they be the path to a better future for all.
Brave good kids
Brave is defending your homeland
@phettywappharmaceuticalsll8842 they are welcome to defend Europe. And standing up to an apartheid regime is always brave.

Are u not embarrassed when u say shit like that. Like actually I hope u never say that in person. Take the information n stop being pathetically online so much. It's a good interview
So disappointing to see even has chat misgendering and also just saying weird stuff like they are fine as hell when they are 17
Hasan's chat isn't all fans and there's many people who only align on economic issues. There will sadly never be a fully accepting and intersectional mass movement and without mass there will never be change.

As a Costarrican, military service is already a (literal) foreign concept to me. Now MANDATORY military service just sounds freaking insane.
The kids are alright 🙏
Homies American spider senses were tingling when he started looking up what “intelligence gathering meant. Good on him. The American dream isn’t dead or a lie… it’s just trounced upon by world leaders. Freedom from sea to shining sea is the same as from the river to the sea. Freedom. Cheers on him.
"American dream" = nightmare for indigenous peoples
"Sea to shining sea" = slavery from one coast to another
We were founded by some good people, and also many horrible people. Best not to repeat their colonialist propaganda for good causes.
I respect these two kids! they are breaking the endless suffering of the Palestinians. I know there are other people who think the same and they might be scared to speak up -because the Israeli government probably threatened them, which is not surprising- May god protect them.
My utmost respect to these young and incredibly self reflecting heroes. ❤❤❤ We will remember those who cared.
Great hair, dawgs... Keep up the good work.
