First time playing through the game.
Sequel to Digital Devil Saga 1. After finishing DDS1, and enjoying it alot (beside high encounter rate) the story was actually good and motivated me to start DDS2.

Yeah, had that one happen when I was playing in Human Form Only - they won't immediately transform in that case and might actually try to use their guns to capitalize on your Gun weakness

I was wondering if I was under-leveled at this part due it was quite a difficulty spike, but from here on it just kept getting harder and harder.

rule of thumb for smt, when the ai starts throwing the next tier of spells, your teams matches them. ganga here is a special case that gets the dynes to make her appear special, but her sub par magic stat to go with them hinders her dmg potential drastically. guide post for power growth, i had all the single target dynes on all my schars before i finnished the second trip to the EGG. but to be fair, i had everyone learn everything at the same tier, so thats a lot of grinding. not everyone will want to play that way. by the end of it i had terazi, zanma, agilao, earth boost, wind boost, fire boost diarama and recarm on all 3 of my battle members for this fight with the 2 back-ups being heal bots for when needed while roaming between heal/save points.

I didn't have dynes at all until Vritra and that was only on one character. I wasn't expecting that my party kept crippling and leveling the wrong characters, haha. That was quite annoying.

yeah. dynes by vritra sounds right. i didnt mention him by name cus some people are funny about spoilers. but on a real note, have fun with the 4 optional bosses that youu can miss if you finnish the airport dungeon before you start them.
