I loved this video. I got married in 1975 to my high school sweetheart right after our college graduations. He was an Air Force officer so we promptly moved from Massachusetts to Colorado. When people asked what I did for a job I would always say I am a homemaker. In 1975 that got strange reactions from people because of Women’s Lib, etc. I never regretted being a homemaker. I did eventually work when my kids went to college. I retired in my late 50’s and I’ll be 70 on August 9th, my husband and I have been married for 48 years, and I have loved my life as a homemaker. Being the keeper of the home is a noble and important profession. We live retired in NH and live in the summer in a small cottage on a lake. We are blessed.
As a grandmother that is helping raise two grandsons I have to remind myself that this is important and not get crabby when I am exhausted. It's hard. But when they tell me I make the best blueberry bread it makes me smile. Maybe that's all they will remember about me and I am okay with that 😁
I am in the same position and it is so true. It’s a privilege to care for these precious grandchildren. I get crabby at times too but then look at those little faces and remember how important it is.
I watched 5 grandkids everyday until they were teenagers. Now I rarely see them....and I miss them so much. Days are long but years are short, never a statement so true
@@Linda-gi8pr I have nine and have been a granny nanny for years. Now just two full time and the rest part time. I pray for strength and patience daily.
Oh so true! I am a Grandmother to 16 and sometimes it gets overwhelming trying to help my kids by being a chauffeur as well as attending games, concerts, plays, helping with homework and all the things, but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
I can totally relate. I raised two girls in the 80s and am now watching my 4-year-old grandson full time. You’d think as a grandmother I wouldn’t feel the same anger at being interrupted, but I do. Working on the important things all time time. It is never-ending. 😂❤
You are so wise to realize the importance of being a Mother & homemaking. My 2 boys are grown now but last Nov my 37 yo moved back home while he was transitioning from the USAF to a new career. He just this week moved to another state for his job & I was so grateful for time we were able to spend together these last months. He arrived safely & called me to say that he actually had tears in his eyes as he drove away from home. Me too I told him. What a blessing we were given to have him home again as an adult. You have many blessings awaiting you!!!!
Thank you for reminding people how important motherhood is. Our 3 boys are grown and Now wonderful husbands and dads I tried, when they were growing up, to do what you talk about. I was often criticized and told, on a few occasions, that I should be out working. On more than one occasion I was told I was “too smart” to waste time at home. I am so glad that I didn’t listen. I am so grateful that I was able to be at home with our boys.
Stay at home moms are not treated with the respect they deserve. Raising loving, decent human beings that grow into happy, well-adjusted adults is something to be proud of and be commended for. ❤
You are such a loving person. Your boys will remember all of the ways you made home cozy, loving and beautiful and those will be all the same reasons they will Want to return when they are adults. Enjoy every one of these days. You’re right. They are such a blessing!! It goes by so fast and so much time can be lost on unimportant things if you let them side track you. You have such a beautiful family. Keep up all of the traditions and small things you do every day to show love mom.
Honey, thru your grace your message to all the young Mamas out there Will be so welcomed. I raised 3 sons...their ages now 41,37,34.. We still live at the farm they grew up on. Everytime I open the pantry door I see their heights and important milestones written on the door. Some days they leap ot at me and I stop to read them all. It takes me back to the times they were at my feet...how I miss those days still...you are such a good wife and mother...you are a true blessing to your family... PS... BOY MOMS ROCK💙
I have 3 boys and I definitely love peace and quiet and a super neat house and I find myself wishing for nap time and bedtime so I can relax but I realize the most important time is when they’re awake running around my feet♥️
Thank you for this video..and sharing your heart in it! I am a mother of a two year old boy and a six months old girl. It is indeed that children shows us our weaknesses..I am still learning to love my children, to slow down and to play my role as mother with a joyful and thankful obedience to God. May we keep growing!
I just found you about a week ago. I am so glad I did. I am so inspired by you. I've always been so Thankful for the Blessings in my Life, and am aware I have so many. But you've inspired me to slow down, and acknowledge them more often. I am feeling more centered and grounded. More capable. You are a new Blessing in my Life. Thank You.
Made me cry listening to the part about wanting your boys to remember you always stopping to smile and listen to them. I have two boys, ages 1 and 2. I want the same thing for my boys. I will take your advice to heart. Thanks for your sweet Christlike spirit and encouragement. I love your motherhood content.
I am a grandma & I can't begin to tell you how much I miss those younger days with my "boys" who are now in their 40s. Time flies by, although while you're going thru it, there are times when it can seem so slow, especially during the rough moments. Life is pretty lonely now, so I truly enjoy & love your videos. They always make me smile & remember forgotten memories & when I didn't feel so lonely. Thank you for that! ❤
I know how you feel except I am not blessed with grandchildren yet. I have two children in their late 20s, I miss the houseful of kids and the shoes in the living room. But mostly I miss their laugh when they were young.
Thank you so much! I just needed to hear your words before our summerbreak begins tommorow, so I will enjoy everyday and dont be unpatient or angry when I get interrupted by my almost 4 year old doughter! I will make the best summer and spend a lot of time with her!
This has been my favourite of your videos sofar. Motherhood and homemaking are wonderful and fulfilling. Make the most of every moment as the years pass so quickly. From on older Mother to a younger. xx
Thank you for sharing your heart on raising children! Truly it is a blessing! As a first time Mom it helps to hear the heart of other Moms and certainly appreciate the encouragement in the areas you mentioned. ☺️
You are very wise. I am now a grandmother. I too had 4 children 3 boys and 1 girl. My kids were born in the late 80 s and early 90s. I was watching Oprah once and she said something that I will always remember. She asked “ do your eyes light up when your child walks into a room?” Kids know and sense how you feel about them. So even today when my adult children come home or even call on the phone my eyes and my voice is happy to see or hear them. What better feeling / memory can you give your child, that says you are love. You are doing a great job.
My sister and I have said the same thing, we wish we could go back and do some things differently when our kids were young. I was too worried about cleaning our home. You are a sweet , smart and godly lady. Yes being a Mother and homemaker is a extremely important job and you are great job with your precious boys !!!!
Such a beautiful video! Thankyou for your honesty about motherhood and homemaking and you do a beautiful job! Your home is beautiful! But more importantly your heart is as well. I was a single mom of two boys for years ( we lived in Southwest lower Michigan and I was raised there as well) and had to work full time so I tried to make a safe and cozy home Life for the boys, but at times it was tough! I won’t deny it. Many days I would wish I could be that stay at home mom, because my mom was always home and there for us, and I wanted that so badly for my beautiful little boys. They are all grown up now and I’m so blessed because they are wonderful kind human beings. My family still lives in Michigan and my folks have been married 64 years this September and still live on our farm. Cherish the time being a stay at home mom because I promise your precious boys will remember these days so much more then you realize. It is THE most important job in the world! And I also follow farmhouse on Boone, I just love her as well. Many blessings to you and have a blessed week. And Thankyou again for sharing! 😊🙏🏻
This was your best video ever! Motherhood and homemaking are gifts from God no matter where you live or status in this world. Enjoy the time you have with your boys while you have them home. May God bless you and your family as you all grow closer to Him as you journey through life, holding His hand of love.
Thank you for a beautiful video.❤ Time goes so quickly while raising a family. It’s hard to see during the early days….and then one day you are a Grandmother! I cherish the days when We were a young family and I was blessed to be a stay at home mom. I wasn’t perfect, could have spent more quality time playing and reading, but I think it was so good despite the times I didn’t. I’m so happy to be a Grammie with a granddaughter just a couple blocks away! She loves baking and playing dolls with us.❤
Love the look of the checkered bed sheet. I just wanted to share I was also a stay at home Mom for years. I wish I appreciated it more. I am now a seasonal worker. My kids are grown but I don't think I could ever go back full time. Enjoy the beauty surrounding yourself. Blessings.
Thank you, Andrea. I cried in this video because this very topic has been much on my heart lately. I have 6 children between the ages of 3 and 12 and while the days are long, the years are definitely short. I'm trying to be more present and attentive with my children amidst the daily homemaking. I am very grateful that I am able to stay home with our children and make our home a haven for all within. A book that I think you would love, that has been a true inspiration to me lately, is called Mother Culture by Karen Andreola. I have been buying a copy as a baby shower gift for all the new mamas in my life. Thank you for opening your heart to us in this video. God bless you and your sweet family.
As a Older mother I know how it is!!!! I worked 3 jobs when my children were small and it was not easy!!! Enjoy your children when they ate small, because when you blink they will be grown!!! I really miss those times and I wish that I could go back!!
Andrea you excel at motherhood and homemaking. Whether one survives the sometimes overwhelming tasks depends on attitude. Your attitude is positive and you find joy in serving your family. In a world where "influencers" are consumed with makeup, shoes, false nails, high fashion, vacations to exotic places, it is so refreshing to find that you take joy in sourdough bread, smoothies, fresh flowers, thrifting and especially loving your husband and your boys. May God continue to bless you and grant you His peace.
This is so true, you are wise beyond your years, such a lovely young mum who looks to be a very kind and loveing mum, to your family, and it takes me back to my childhood when my mum was also such a good homemaker, always involving her children and showing them love in positive ways ..i lost my mum recently and i am so grateful for the parents i had and the happy childhood i had, living in the country, my father working hard and my mum at home keeping a lovely home and always cooking from scratch fresh food..on a small farm...in the uk your children will remember this...i miss my mum and dad who i lost borh within a year so much even in my fifties,xx i worry as a lone parent that i wasnt able to give my daughter as good up bringing as it was hard on my own but i tryed my very best , as i look back at holidays and my daughters childhood as happy still..good memories..x🥰
Thank you Andrea for such a beautiful video. I just cried as I watched. I too used to be more focused on my home than my children. It’s wonderful to see that you have realized this now as you are still a young mom with little ones. This video will be a great encouragement to other moms and even grandmothers that find themselves raising grandchildren as I am. My children are all grown now but I am pouring myself into my 2 grandchildren. I began homeschooling them this past November and I have a renewed passion and gratefulness that God has called me to homemaking full time. Your message that homemaking is a calling is so important. You are such a blessing! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your heart with us (me) although I’m a grandma (of almost 13 years!) and a total of 5 (#6) is due in 6 weeks I think your words resonate with me now and I’m able to use your words to help me be everything I can be as a grandma!
What a beautiful and peaceful video! As a new grandmother I cherish sweet moments with the kids so much more than I did when I was a mom. Life lessons to pass on. You are an inspiration. Homemaking can be beautiful and rewarding especially with a grateful heart. ❤
I have a lg old Tupperware bowl that's seen better days and Ive tahought of throwing it out but so many little granddaughters have cooked with me using it I just put it away
What a beautiful video! I have done many things in my life, but home making and raising my daughter was the very best thing I have ever done. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at home to care for our home and help my daughter grow into the wonderful woman she is today. I would have loved to make videos to share and commemorate the quiet moments as well as the fun parties and gatherings we had at our home at that time. When my daughter was little, older women would always say "Cherish this time--your daughter will be grown before you know it." And I did. It is true, it goes by so quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed the way you made this video. It is gorgeous and will be a wonderful way to remember this precious time.
I see you so much and I thank you for being so honest. My boys are now adults and moved out of home but I sometimes, in my spiritual journey, reflect on my ‘perfectionism’ when my boys were young. I often wish to have my time again but I know that we are all journeying our path the way it is meant to be travelled. Our lessons become a powerful insight into our growth spiritually and it is something to be grateful for not regretful. Everything is as it should be. You are a blessing to your boys as I am to mine. We live, love and learn everything we need to know as we embrace this fabulous life we have chosen. I’ve just found your videos and am loving your passion and serene presence you offer. Thank you for what you do. 🙏💜
Oh Andrea, you thoughts are so inspiring to me. You're such a blessing to your family. You're a Proverbs 31 woman. As a special needs mom, I never planned this path, but God had another idea. It was tough the first years but it's getting better. Through this, I've grown deeper in my relationship with Jesus. 😍Our son is a beautiful gift from God. He's so amazing! 😭Thanks for sharing. Your channel brings me so much JOY. 💕🤗
What a sweet video ❤ I still cherish the moments with my son (He's 28 years old) , he's on his own, but we have a great relationship, and I cherish that
This is such a lovely video. I love how you took us along with you during your day. I am single and work outside of the home, but I still consider myself a homemaker because I love my home and take care of it everyday even if it is different from being a stay at home wife/mom. I pray that one day I will be able to retire from my career and devote more of my time to my home.
Your intro made me want to cry. I have 9 children, my eldest is 22 and the youngest is 2. The days can be long, but there is beauty to be found in the struggle. Time truly slides by so quickly and making a lovely atmosphere for our families is such a joy. And sometimes a frustration, if we're real! 😉
Wow I just became a viewer of your channel and you are an inspiration. Enjoy those babies because in the blink of an eye it’s grand babies under your feet. Beautiful home and I love how the Lord is Central in your life. God Bless!
Wow….you are such a beautiful soul…to honestly share your difficulty in adjusting to motherhood and it is so understandable. Even the best of us cannot withstand being pulled in numerous directions. Children do come first, but that doesn’t make your eyes close to the mess and unending to-do list that won’t care for themselves. Your home is very artistic and gorgeous and I am sure your children are not short-changed in any way as your home feels full of love. (And the kids are so handsome.) Yes, the time of their youth passes all too quickly. Please do take some time for yourself as children are very resilient and really only need the essentials and can feel when a parent is spent. Peace be on you and your lovely family
As a mama of sons now in their 20s, I appreciate your encouragements to younger moms. God has given you a ministry to them for sure. The fabric for the boys room is perfect!
So beautifully said. I love being a wife and mom more than anything. I surround myself with beautiful vintage things that make simple tasks special. I use the good dishes, store things in pretty glass jars and tins, and use old quilts. Being a mom was the best gift ever, my son is an adult but it was the best job.
Thank you for that beautiful video and your honest words. It really hit home for me. I am a new mama of a 5 month old boy, renovating a house and want to get it all done but its not working and little man is growing so fast! I really need to enjoy it. ❤
Thank you so much for this video, Andrea. As a mom to three young boys this really hit home. My house is often loud and chaotic but maybe God sent me these three little men to teach me and refine me and help me see more of the beauty in that chaos ❤ I hope I can continue to grow as a mother. This is a video I need to come back and watch regularly. Thank you!
You are so precious…I had a dear friend tell me years ago that it takes a special woman to raise boys 🥰. Having raised two men, both of my daughters-in-law thank me for the happy loving men they have become 🥰. Thank you for today 🥰🥰🐾
My daughter was about 16 months old and I was pregnant (didn’t know it right away) when my husband left us. I was a single mom for several years and couldn’t enjoy my kiddos as much as I wished I could have. I was in RN school when I had Ben and if it wasn’t for my mother, I never would’ve made it. She was an amazing grandmother. They are now 44 and 46 and kids of their own. Most of us tend to think that we should’ve done better. But God equipped us to do with what we had. My kids say they had a wonderful childhood. God is great!
Thank you for your honesty about motherhood - I currently have a 3 year old & a 1 year old & for the first time I have started to feel discouraged & like the things I am trying to do may not really matter. Perhaps that is a normal feeling from time to time? I’ve also recently started to feel a prick in my heart about my priorities - getting all of the things on my list done or slowing down to spend more time with my little boys. I am so grateful for mamas that are a little farther on the path of motherhood sharing their hearts & reminding young mamas of the truly important things. God bless you. 💜
This video was so calming and beautiful!! We raised 2 sons and now we have 6 grandchildren; 4 boys and 2 girls. We get so much joy from them. There are times when I look back and know that I would have done things differently but I don't dwell on those past times. We are very close to our sons, their wives and our grandchildren. We focus on loving, caring and enjoying all of our family and don't sweat the small stuff. God has blessed us beyond measure and I thank Him every single day for our blessings. You have created an amazing home and atmosphere to raise your boys and there is no doubt they will look back and know they were well cared for and loved. Keep up the great parenting mom and dad!!!
I worked for 30 plus years but now I'm retired, I'm a great Memaw to 2 youngins 🎉 I am sooooo grateful to be home spending time with the youngest generation of our family! Thanks be unto God for these Precious Gifts 🙏🎉❤
Thank you for making this vlog! I love your channel because it’s down to earth and Christian based! I have 3 kids. 2 girls and a boy ranging from 11,9,3 and felt the same way with my first who happened to be the easiest baby I have ever known. I was upset by the fact that I couldn’t meet all of the house hold demand’s like I used to. I have learned as well, to embrace and see the beauty in motherhood! God granted me the blessings that I asked for. It just took time for me to see all of the other blessings that I thought were frustrating were really part of his beautiful gift! Not to say, I don’t get stressed out as a mom with some of the real life demands I just view them a little different now! Thanks for posting this video!
So loved your post today. My children are all grown and have children of their own - a true blessing for me! I so remember the adjustments to motherhood, but can honestly say I so loved being a mother and now a MiMi is just a bonus beyond belief. Enjoy each day. It goes by so very quickly. Trust your instincts and know that your boys will sense your abundant love for them. I truly believe the most important thing in raising your children is showing them a loving husband and wife who love each other and their children. All the best!
What a wonderful and beautiful video Angela! Everything seemed so soft and dreamy to me today. Lol, I guess I’m a Grandma and Great Grandma that is remembering the days gone by. I took my oldest Great Grandaughter to two Thrift sores. She is 12, but still loves the hunt for Beanie Babies or small items 😊. She made my afternoon ❤ Thank you again for helping me remember the precious moments with children!🙏🏻
Andrea, I have watched you now for many years and I must say I think this is one of my favorite videos you have done❤. Beautifully done, and so raw and true about the struggles with motherhood, it's real and every momma experiences it. Thank you for this look in to your own life and experiences. Your boys are going to have so many wonderful and meaningful memories with you, things they will look back and remember 40 years from now. ❤
This is a beautiful and calming video!❤ we just had our first baby 5 weeks ago so I needed the reminder to cherish each moment with our little guy! Thanks ☺️
I appreciate your honesty! Let me assure you that every mom has those moments. It may not be our best moments, but it is normal and natural to be overwhelmed sometimes. That doesn’t minimize our love for our kids, it just makes us human. I think you’re a sweet Momma and it is evident that you love your family. I really have learned to thank God for the trials that make us realize the moments He carries and sustains us. Thank you for sharing Andrea! God bless your momma heart.🥰
Your videos are ALWAYS so encouraging and beautifully done. Homemaking, being a wife and mother are a true calling. When we get comfortable in our own skin and truly appreciate the fact that we were created for this wonderful calling. God opens up our eyes and allows us to experience a fulfillment that can only come from him. May God continue to bless you and your precious loved ones sweet Andrea. 😊
This was such a wonderful, homey video. My kids are in their early 20s but still home for now. I’ve always been a homemaker. I love it. Although there’s many things I wish I’d done differently too. I hope my kids look back on the good things tho, I feel there have been many. The smells of my candles (everyday) and good food cooking, amongst other things. I’m not perfect but I love my family and have always just tried to do my best. 😌 Watching from Michigan…Kim
Hi Andrea THANK U so much for this inspiring video 🤗 when I was younger I struggled w/ being a homemaker thinking I was cornered & had no choice but to b home. As I’ve gotten older I have learned so much & how very fortunate I was to b able to stay home & raise my children. I am now a grandma (Oma) to 3 precious grandsons 🥰 I taught my 4 children that raising a family is one of the most important jobs n the world to b able to mold a little human to b loving responsible thoughtful & independent is the most fulfilling job. I encourage people if they can arrange it to put material things aside & stay at home to b there for ur kids it’s the best important & rewarding job there is ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing! This was such a beautiful video 🥰 I completely agree with all you said. Thanks for always being an encouragement to moms and homemakers❤️
I think it’s wonderful that you share your true thoughts about being a mother and the responsibilities of home making. This will help other mothers know that they are not alone. When I was raising my children ( the oldest is 38 years old ) I would get uptight when things didn’t go just perfect. Social media has so many negative effects but also so many positive effects if one chooses to watch and follow influencers that promote a healthy lifestyle. Young parents are very fortunate to have you as a role model. I love watching your little family grow . Your sons giggles and laughter make me smile .Enjoy every minute because they will grow up quickly. ❤️❤️❤️
Your life and home are absolute perfection! You truly live in paradise! You’ve captured all that home and family life is, God first and the rest falls into place. Love you! ❤❤❤ And your sour dough bread is beautiful! ❤❤❤ I’ve watched this three times today. You make everything look so effortless and the music!!!!! ❤❤❤ The absolute best video ever!!! ❤❤❤
Loved this video. So beautifully done. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed your thoughts on motherhood, and I couldn't agree more. God is so good and faithful!😇
Beautiful and inspirational. As the mother of a son with a disability I understand your heart. Motherhood didn't start the way I hoped that it would. I now teach srudents with disabilities. I tell my parents that acceptance brings you peace and allows you to embrace what you will eventually cherish.
Thank you!! This video is right on time! My baby turns 1 year old soon and I'm still in survival mode. She has been such a wonderful blessing to me but it IS hard in ways I didn't expect. Thank you for reminding me to let go and enjoy her being little.
We have the same ninja blender. I have the same complaint about holding it down but it still works great after 7 years….so like you we are holding onto it. 😊 thank you for your great message too. Motherhood can be hard but it is sooo worth it.
And I would feel exactly the opposite - lol - if something so simple & relatively inexpensive aggravated me every single time I used it & especially if I were using it every day, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to replace it - all those little aggravations add up by the end of a long day !
❤ good morning sweet Andrea I was thinking as you spoke as a mama there’s nothing that you never forget that feeling that warmth from holding your child I am 73 and my oldest is 48 :-( lol oh my gosh that sounds so old and my daughter is 41 and so blessed ! sweet girl, the feelings never never leave you they’ll always be pondered in our hearts and yes, I am thankful that I took the time to be a nurturing, mom to be housekeeper that I could teach my children and I’m thankful to say that it truly works my son is an amazing husband father grandpa that knows how to do all the things he was taught which my daughter-in-law is so thankful for always :-) and of course my daughter, amazing wife and mother! God has been the center of a home and always will be and our children’s. Love to watch you with your babes and your family and all the blessings that God has given to you.❤ your beautiful home exemplifies your godly touch as that wife, mother, woman of God, a teacher, and a leader in your home❤ your breads are so beautiful!
Oh, Andrea, this one made me cry happy tears of hope for our love of homemaking!! I have such a heart for this very high calling. Now my two daughters are married to wonderful godly men and I am in a new season of homemaking with just my hubby and loving it more than ever! It just keeps getting better!! Be encouraged to continue with all you do! I can't thank you enough for speaking on this. As always... don't stop!! ❤😅✝️
Andrea, this was such a beautiful video. I am a grandma and this video took me back to those days when my two little ones were under my wing fluffing up my feathers 😂. It made me drop a few tears reminiscing. They were so very precious. It goes too quickly. Embrace each moment. You're creating precious memories...those which come to your minds eye as time sneaks away before you realize it. God bless you and your precious family. 🙏 ❤😊
I have a smaller version of that ninja blender. My kids call it the thumb blender since the push button resembles a thumb to them. Thanks for the encouragement.
Very Beautiful Feelings! Time goes too fast and they might not end up living close by. The closest thing to going back in time is a very rare dream where they are little. Enjoy your weekend!
What a sweet video that has the power to encourage young moms. You are a wise woman who realizes as her children are growing the blessings of motherhood and homemaker. I think many of us realize these things after our children are grown and we have regrets. You’re doing a wonderful job with the blessings God has entrusted you with. 💙💙💙💙
When I make pies mostly on holidays I cut out leaves or snowmen for the top crust because it's so pretty . my son in law said why did you do that were just going to eat it. So I understand you believe me its fun the make it special
I have to keep reminding myself to have more patience with my 4 grandbabies. We use mason jars for drinking glasses because they don't break as easily as others. I have pint, quart and 24 oz ones they fit nicely in the cup holder in my car. Your family is beautiful. I struggle with house work too because my house is a licensed facility. I'm blessed to be a caregiver for my handicapped adult daughter. Unfortunately it comes with rules and regulations and I like to decorate a lot 😊
I had 7 kids we lost one baby to cancer when she was 2. My biggest worry was she didn't know how much she was loved, then my pastor told me she did God showed her. There was days I thought I would go nuts but my mother said the days are long but the years are short. Now they are all grown and I would give anything for those days back, the years went by so fast. I now have 19 grandchildren and I tell their parents the days might be long but the years are short don't waste your time chasing things that don't matter the memories made with their kids is all that does
Probably one of my favorite episodes!❤…I have been blessed with two boys and love them more than life itself. I work a full time job outside the home but dream of doing what you do. Home making is my passion, just wish I had more time and energy or just the ability to stay home and make that full time. Thank you for sharing! You and your family are such a blessing

Such a beautiful story, Christine. You truly are blessed! ❤️
As a grandmother that is helping raise two grandsons I have to remind myself that this is important and not get crabby when I am exhausted. It's hard. But when they tell me I make the best blueberry bread it makes me smile. Maybe that's all they will remember about me and I am okay with that 😁

Wow, so special!! Thank you for sharing! 🤗
so sweet it made me cry.
THank you. What could actually be more important than raising the next generation with loving kindness.
Your boys will remember all of the ways you made home cozy, loving and beautiful and those will be all the same reasons they will
Want to return when they are adults. Enjoy every one of these days. You’re right. They are such a blessing!! It goes by so fast and so much time can be lost on unimportant things if you let them side track you. You have such a beautiful family. Keep up all of the traditions and small things you do every day to show love mom.
Honey, thru your grace your message to all the young Mamas out there
Will be so welcomed.
Thank you for this beautiful video about motherhood. Ordinary every day …is truly a blessing.
I will make the best summer and spend a lot of time with her!
love the motherhood heart posture encouragement, the checkered print, and the reference to lisa’s kefir recipe ♥️
I was a single mom of two boys for years ( we lived in Southwest lower Michigan and I was raised there as well) and had to work full time so I tried to make a safe and cozy home
Life for the boys, but at times it was tough!
Oh my goodness you are too sweet!! Thank you so much! 😊💕
Yes i agree Amen!!🙌🙏
Me too.
Boy, well said Mary… this all feels so much more real & important then all that self serving vanity stuff. 🙏🏻
I love you and your precious family! You are an inspiration to me and others!
Lovely video. You are wise to love your life as wife, mother and keeper of the home.
Exactly what I needed to hear! The struggle is real. Thank you!🙏👏
As a mama of sons now in their 20s, I appreciate your encouragements to younger moms.
So special!! 🤗💕
This is a beautiful meaningful and lovely comment. Thank you! ❤
Wow. You are beautiful inside and out! You are amazing z!
What a lovely video. I can relate with my house full of boys also. So grateful for my home and family . Thank you for reminding me !!!
Thank you for that beautiful video and your honest words. It really hit home for me. I am a new mama of a 5 month old boy, renovating a house and want to get it all done but its not working and little man is growing so fast! I really need to enjoy it. ❤
What a beautiful video. Your thoughts are beautiful too. I so love your home.
Love this video and this new style of video you're doing. Thank you for the relatability and encouragement.
Your videos are soothing to my soul. You have a sweet essence, Christian heart I’m grateful I discovered your channel.
GOD Bless you and yours. This was the best video you have done. I was very touched by the love and peace. Thank you.
Oh my goodness thank you so much!! 🙂💕
You can use pint mason jars or the crystal jelly jars for drinking glasses.
They are really nice and last.
Yes, homemaking and motherhood are the most precious blessing, and when it’s embraced it’s a ministry like no other.
The yard looks so beautiful
Watching from Michigan…Kim
Hi Andrea THANK U so much for this inspiring video 🤗 when I was younger I struggled w/ being a homemaker thinking I was cornered & had no choice but to b home. As I’ve gotten older I have learned so much & how very fortunate I was to b able to stay home & raise my children. I am now a grandma (Oma) to 3 precious grandsons 🥰 I taught my 4 children that raising a family is one of the most important jobs n the world to b able to mold a little human to b loving responsible thoughtful & independent is the most fulfilling job. I encourage people if they can arrange it to put material things aside & stay at home to b there for ur kids it’s the best important & rewarding job there is ❤️
I loved being a mother and staying home with them and now my children are grown and now I’m so much enjoying my 4 beautiful granddaughters ♥️
This was a beautiful video. Thank you for sharing and may God continue to bless your family.
A beautiful and refreshing video. Thank you.
Oh my goodness thank you for sharing!! 💕
Thanks for encouraging, just having a hard day
Such a sweet voice to listen to! 😊
Great video Andrea. Thank you for telling your experience. This thing that all parents feel has happened to us, I think. Blessings and much love 🤍🌹
Thank you so much, glad this video resonated with you! 💕
Thank you for sharing this video, I needed to hear everything you talked about. ❤
Wow I teared up listening to this, hit quite a few chords with me ❤
Oh, Andrea, this one made me cry happy tears of hope for our love of homemaking!!
Beautiful video. I've always said that being a mom is the hardest & most rewarding thing I have ever done. Thanks for your wisdom!
I have a smaller version of that ninja blender. My kids call it the thumb blender since the push button resembles a thumb to them.
Thanks for the encouragement.
This is one of my favorite videos of yours!
Very Beautiful Feelings! Time goes too fast and they might not end up living close by. The closest thing to going back in time is a very rare dream where they are little. Enjoy your weekend!
Thank you so much! So very true!! 💕
What a great video! I love how real you are! ❤
This is my favorite video you’ve ever made!!❤
What a sweet video that has the power to encourage young moms. You are a wise woman who realizes as her children are growing the blessings of motherhood and homemaker. I think many of us realize these things after our children are grown and we have regrets. You’re doing a wonderful job with the blessings God has entrusted you with. 💙💙💙💙
You are a beautiful soul & I love your videos so much ❤
When I make pies mostly on holidays I cut out leaves or snowmen for the top crust because it's so pretty . my son in law said why did you do that were just going to eat it.
