'More' is the third studio album and first soundtrack album by English rock band Pink Floyd . It was released on 13 June 1969 in the United Kingdom by EMI Columbia and on 9 August 1969 in the United States by Tower Records . The soundtrack is for the film of the same name , which was primarily filmed on location on Ibiza and was the directorial debut of Barbet Schroeder . It was the band's first album without former leader Syd Barrett .
The album was a top ten hit in the UK , but received mixed reviews . Several songs became live favourites over the following years .
Starring Mimsy Farmer and Klaus Grünberg , the film deals with heroin addiction as drug fascination on the island of Ibiza , Spain . Made in the political fallout of the 1960s counterculture , it features drug use , "free love" , and other references to contemporary European youth culture .

Great addition to the unreleased Floyd catalog! Never heard the title track live before. I wish Floyd would release cleaned up live versions of their early 70s catalog. I love Cymbaline live, though I could do without the footsteps. If you haven’t yet, check out the version from the 1970 Montreaux concert. This a good quality recording with the best version of Gilmour’s solo I’ve heard.

When I was a kid, I had a dream that More was actually a double album and I had found the missing "other record." So here it is, I guess. 😂

Thank you Pink Floyd fans for helping me find the title of a RARE STUDIO BOOTLEG from around '69. Before I search these titles,I'll describe the song I'm inquiring about:
1. The song is about 6 minutes or so long,and is sung by,I believe Roger
2. It features an upbeat renissance-like organ melody that sounds like a psychedelic WALTZ and a trippy middle 8 guitar solo with a little wah-wah and distorted sounds
3. The lyrics are of one's reminiscing of a young love with movements captured in time and still flowing in his mind
3. The song ISN'T "summer of'68" like some folks thought. If anyone has any more title suggestions, please share them with me. Thanks!❤

As a matter of fact, I came across an instrumental jam of the chords to that song on the video; Pink Floyd odds and all sorts 1968 -1977. It starts at 8 minutes and goes to 12:20. When I heard it on FM radio in 1992,it was a complete song with a cathedral-like organ melody,verses,lyrics,and a trippy middle 8 guitar solo. Even if this song was UNTITLED,it's ok,not only was it rare,it was also a definite COOL song!
@calliopivogiatzis2235 I too have listened to that. A little skeptical on the first 2 tracks if it's really Floyd. The recording sounds way too clear to me.

Most of this music is from The Early Years volumes and the rest from bootlegs that are out there.
Curiosity: The album photo isn't the same scene of the film. This particular frame (take) don't exist in the film.
