According to an article, the actual people of chagos wanted to remain British .Lammy admitted in parliament the only reason they gave it away .Was because they might lose a vote in the un.Which quiet frankly is an organisation no one abides by its rulings anyway . This is one of the most disgraceful decisions any uk government has done in the history of these isles .
