I’m sitting here crying. I left an very narcissistic alcoholic abusive relationship in 2011. I was 49. I lost EVERYTHING. I left without my car.. memories of childhood items.. pictures.. furniture.. my sanity..my soul.. I was scared and diagnosed with agoraphobia the fear of leaving your home. I’m now 60.. I live in a apartment in my daughters townhouse with 3 grandchildren and one coming any day. Every day is a struggle but these children have saved me. I left when my daughter was about to deliver my first grandchild- she’s 11 now.. she saved my life. I knew he would never let me go see her. My daughter could never trust him around her.. she’s gonna know every day how she gave me the courage… Ty for this song.
As a Survivor of both Dv and Mental abuse this song is powerful... However Abuse of any kind is not okay. It's Not just the kind you can see that's horrible, sometimes the mental abuse is worse. 🤍💯 Blessings to anyone who's going through either one or both . You can get out and things can get better 🕊️🙏
I finally stood up to my abuser 13 years ago. I got out. Not without life long scars, but I did get out. 2 years ago I found out he was abusing his current wife and their children. It sent me reeling. I am afraid for her every day. I know the depths of evil inside this man and I cannot imagine what hell he has put her through. I only endured his violence for 3 years. She's been going through it silently for over 10 years. My heart breaks for her and I don't know how to help her. I pray for her everyday that she'll get the strength to leave him but he's got her so isolated idk how she'll ever find the strength. He's even used his church elders to witness to the court for him that he's changed and this was an isolated mistake but it wasn't. He's been abusing women for 20 years. She isn't just fighting the isolation he's put her in, but also the isolation that her church, the one place she should be safe, has also put her in by standing by a known repeated abuser. Idk why I'm putting all this out here to be honest. If you are a believer of God, will you please pray with me for this woman? It's all I know to do. Kelli, if you ever read this by some chance, please leave him. Before he kills you. Please. There is life after him and it's so beautiful. I know I'm virtually a stranger to you but I honestly care for you and am here for you if you ever decide you want out. I got out. I'll help you too. YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN THIS!!!! No matter what he's made you believe about yourself. He's a liar. Please choose you.
I left an abusive relationship last year my ex verbally and emotionally abused me. I was accused with things I wasn’t doing. I suffer with PTSD so I get flash backs at times with him yelling or messaging me stuff. I feel like crying right now just after hearing this.
@@giannishen All I know is I believe if the rightful President Donald John Trump was publicly in full control of everything rather than what I believe and feel is really going on, China would NOT have started any bs anywhere. America is stolen right now and sadly, it feels life America's Patriots are for the most part acting like submissive hostages rather standing up and doing our duty as Americans to keep our government in line. For the sake of the entire world, America and her people need to get out heads out of our asses, stand up and with the protections of the Constitution and Declaration Of Independence, take back OUR great land, lock up these treasonous scum charging them appropriately (treason and high treason), abolish the 2 party system (only created because of democrats wanted to keep slavery around, so they started their "party" and Republicans created their's to fight the democrats (of which eventually did in Civil War), and being everyone together, unite all true Patriots and if you speak out against this great nation claiming you hate it here and so on... WE THE PEOPLE will gladly help you pack and possibly never let you back in (see how we feel about it, haha).
