Thank you Josh. I've been wanting to try that weave technique ever since I saw it on Fischer's Shop. Now you've done it too, so it's about time I try my hand at it. Not for this little board, but I'll make another larger board and try it. .
@@loosebootwoodworking Not gonna lie, it's a bit tricky. My best advice is to use veneer for the inlays. My strips were a bit thick and not all exactly the same. Had to use a little sawdust and glue in a couple places 👍
@@Last-Breath-Woodworks Thanks for the advice. One thing I think will up my game on trying this would be a spindle sander. All I have as a random orbital or sand by hand. Too, my bandsaw tends to drift, so getting thin strips with the same thickness is gonna be fun. 🤣 Despite all that, I'm willing to give it a go, but will head your advice to be sure.
Looks awesome. Love that knife.
I need to build a knife and showcase it on a board I build.
That looks fantastic Paul, very nice video as well.
Thanks, much appreciated! It was a fun little project.
Looks beautiful!
Thanks, I kinda dig it too.😁
Awesome ! I know they are very popular.
😂 great video btw. ✌️
Thanks! 😃
Great job Paul! Love mixing species, brings out the character of each other 👌
