This song played the last 2 episodes of season 1, from what I looked up, there was a 4 month gap between episodes 23 and 24. I was fine with the song switch as OP 2 sucked.
@@twistedsword8612 actually more I looked back I wanted that into longer, I didn't miss it just it was so breif even though cool, I didn't remember it well😣. Gem in the rough. Cudos on translating and covering it splendidly.

The song itself is actually pretty good, my issue is the opening's blatantly lazy animation despite only being used for a few episodes.

The lyrics match so well with the theme of last episodes, Euphie and Lelouch meeting again and Lelouch's power going out of control later and the events that happened.. loved it

Note: As of now there are only 4 japanese covers, 3 english covers, 2 russian covers and 3 spanish covers for this song, and i'm extremely greatful for all of those covers
UPDATE: as of march 2021 only a couple new covers have been uploaded, i'll try to keep updating these every year for fun.

I feel like lyrics of this cover are about grieving after Euphemia. "This power I cannot control all alone It flies on its own" is simply Lelouch grieving after Geass-scape incident with his half-sister that lead to massacre of innocent Japanese people and to demise of Euphemia herself. Such a great cover and lyrics!

The fact that Code Geass is more than 10 years old blows my mind, and this great cover gives me nostalgia back when I watched this in grade school.

Wow! I didn't expect this to be an English dub! This opening OST of Code Geass is honestly very intense. It accurately and deeply conveys the desperation of the last 2 episodes of the first season.
