- The new UPPAbaby Minu stroller may seem like a great travel stroller, but you'll find it to be the perfect all-around stroller too! Designed for parents who are on-the-go, it features a super compact one-hand fold, full size seat, and x-large canopy. Compatible for newborns as well with a car seat adapter or from-birth kit!
There is a new fashion for 2019 - Devin, which is a light melange.

Excellent stroller for traveling alone with a child in airports
I have this stroller and love it! It successfully combines the beauty and quality of Uppababy with the convenience of an umbrella stroller. My sister has the 2018 Vista which is perfect for her with 2 babies. But once the baby outgrows that infant car seat, you’ll be glad to have chosen the MINU if you only have one baby. It’s super lightweight and compact in comparison.
Why wouldn’t they make the footrest adjustable?!! I truly feel it is the only missing feature.
Great stroller, but they need to add a adjustable footrest. Especially at this price point. Also needs a belly bar, kids love belly bars. I hope uppababy is listening, this stroller needs a adjustable foot rest!
Love it.
Does it come with a free travel bag? Do you know if it will fit in most overhead airplane bins?
Can the car seat adapters/car seat be used with the stroller seat in the frame as well? The picture shown shows only the stroller frame with the car seat...
Yes, you can leave the seat fabric on, but you need to remove the canopy.
which would you recommend between this and the yoyo+? I dislike the smaller size of the storage in the yoyo +. Those bars kill me. lol And you can't beat uppababy's support.
The Minu is a really awesome stroller with a super smooth push and nice size basket as well! You are definitely right on target- no one beats uppababy's warranty :)
Can you show with car seat?
i know it's a one hand fold but it seems you need two hands to unfold it? would you please confirm?
It's a one hand fold, but to unfold there's a latch that needs to be opened, so you may need to use 2 hands.
No belly bar????
Can you put the feet up like the G-luxe?
No
Hi! Can you compare this to the GB Qbit+ ?
Hi there, Mirella! Check out our lightweight stroller blog post comparison here:

Do not waste your money on the GB Qbit Plus! We got it last year and it was so difficult to push and manoeuver. The brake is so hard to unlock especially in sandals. My son hated the stroller too, the sitting up position is not upright enough and he was always sliding down the front. Our everyday stroller is the Cybex Priam which is amazing. Everything that I wanted out of the GB Qbit Plus the Minu has like an easy brake and single wheels, well supporting seat.
They couldnt release this when i was pregnant lol smh now i have to convince myself i dont need another stroller
not sure that those dimensions will fit in an overhead compartment. when you search, those dimensions you quote don't quite make it.
It fits onto most airplane overhead bins, you need to check with your airline before.
Important to note that the adaptors that make this compatible with a car seat have been delayed meaning that it is not currently suitable for newborns. We purchased this stroller primarily because of the impressive folding mechanism and lightweight construction - perfect for city/apartment living. We understood the Uppababy Mesa car seat adaptors would be available in mid June so we put in a pre-order for them. Our baby is now coming early July and only just found out that the release of the adaptors has been delayed until late July, possibly not even until August, according to the Uppababy customer service rep. Now we are left with a stroller and car seat that is basically useless until the adapters are released, with no guaranteed ship date. The customer service agent’s solution was that we should’ve ordered directly from them (because they “would’ve informed us of this potentially happening”) or borrow another stroller off someone in the meantime! If we wanted to borrow a stroller, we would’ve no need to purchase the Minu in the first place. Is the way to resolve a customer service issue to blame the customer? I think not. There is no resolution to this from Uppababy at this point.
One of the other reasons we got an Uppababy stroller is because it is an American company and reputed to have great customer service. It’s a shame that we haven’t had that experience with them. We are not unreasonable customers and always try to understand limitations and unforeseen delays - it happens. However, it is extremely misleading and dishonest to customers to sell the stroller as “suitable for newborns” with the car seat and from-birth kit (which ALSO not currently available btw) if the accessories that enable that capability are not going to be available at the same time. I DO NOT recommend purchasing this product as a complete solution from birth.
fathaggis so Exchange it for the cruz. Easy solution.
I have a question, does the lower part of the seat comes up and straightens up so the baby lays flat without legs being bent at the knees when you lower the back support and put the baby to sleep?
the footrest is not adjustable, its at a 45 degree angle.
No
When you unfold the Minu, does the fold joint that is part of the handlebar handle suppose to lock? And if it locks, how do you unlock it?
The only thing I don’t like is the recline
Y didn’t uppa baby use their standard recline that we mamas love so much 😒
Fingers crossed they update it 🤞 but compared to other strap reclines the Uppababy one is pretty user friendly and easy to use!
I bought entire Minu kit (stroller, from birth, adapters, Mesa seat car) at MBeans, but Uppababy and MBeans say they do not deliver the car seat adapter and From birth kit because Uppababy is not complying with launching date they promised.
Uppababy does not give a final date and blames its official retailer “MBeans” for this pre-sale.
Our recommendation for clients: find another brand a bit more considerate with promises to parents to be. Otherwise stay with us, stressed because you bought things you could not use with your baby that is about to arrive.
