It really struggles me to memorize or remember the articles of words..

What I did is made sections dedicated to specific articles. So instead of writing a dreadful unorganized list of random household items, I dedicated certain pages to specific parts of the household (like items you'll find in the kitchen or something) and then on that page, made a section listed under "Masculine" (and "Feminine", "Neuter" on other parts of the page) where I wrote down the masculine nouns and what they mean. So whenever I go back to those notes, I find what I need in those specific and organized sections an it's easier to memorize the articles when you have them listed under where they belong instead of randomly placed.

@@conzerv4840 I quitted my friend, It's not my thing. English is enough to me. And my mother tongue is Turkish. If I change my mind in future, I learn Swedish or Dutch but definitely not German. That articles make no sense. Apart from that the phonetics and conjugation of the language is fun.

Why "einen Schreibtisch" and not "ein Schreibtisch" since it's article is der. I looked it up and and apparently "einen" is for masculine accusative case but i can't see the accusative case in the sentence.
