Nice review & a good looking little scooter. Scooters are very underrated in the UK, so it's good to see a positive review. I have noticed the odd comment about it being underpowered & a liability. Hmm. Written by someone who's never ridden a scooter, I'd say. For riding around town these are perfect - they accelerate well enough & town riding is what they're designed for. Having had a test ride on one myself its a perfectly adequate machine - & i weigh 20 odd stones (127 ish kg). But then I'm a scooter fan, as I ride a Suzuki AN650 Burgman, & frankly it's one of the best bikes ive had in 43 years of riding all sorts of bikes, from a FS1E to 1200cc BMW touring bikes.
Hi Kate, would you think this is a good choice for my wife (63) who tried a 125 geared bike but just couldn’t get the hang of the gears etc, she wanted to ride but had her confidence knocked badly with a fall at 5 mph in our yard. My first ride on a gas powered two wheeler was in grade school in the early 60s on the spare tire of I believe a Vespa, there was three of us on it. I already liked motorcycles but that set the hook. Kate compared to other rides to Scotland did the scooter with its leg protection from the wind and wet make a big difference in comfort? My city used to have an annual scooter rally it was a sight to see them coming down the road. I had a PCX 125 as my commuter, to save my 1100 Shadow for longer journeys. 1100 was insured for £105 fully comp. Scooter was £395! Reason why, is that they are easier to steal. This turned out to be the case as I was drop kicked off at the lights and the scooter was stolen. I have stuck with bikes since then.

Nice scooter but the wheel size worries me. 12 at the front and 10 inches at the rear. I wonder what road holding would be like riding in the rain and also over rough ground and potholes.
I honestly think you'd find it a bit too small. Maybe a Suzuki Burgman 400 or BMW C400X would be better for your height as my dad is about your height and rides a c400x comfortably.
I nearly bought a Burgman 400 for this winter, but I just couldn't do it, even at 66, I don't feel I'm ready, 😂🤣 so I've bought a CL500 scrambler instead and am pleased with it, for the lanes, tracks and byways in Mid wales, a much nicer road bike than my CRF300 Rally, job done. I like that you have a good variance of reviews, which makes it a great channel to watch 👍
I am gonna buy the adress this year. I only have to scrambble the cash and Suzuki will be minę. I am debating only between the adress or yamaha delight 125, both come with the same price range and both will be relible, so its a choice on looks. Love your video ❤
It slightly grinds my gears/belt when I keep hearing western bike reviewers criticise manufacturers for not making engines at the limit of a specific liscense class. Pretty much every other market is more important to them when it comes to practical sensible bikes of the people. Europe and North America variants are probably an after thought for most bikes under 400cc. Despite sounding mardy I do appreciate the review!...and now a cheeky question!...How did you feel about the balance and stability being on a small wheeled scooter? Did it feel less safe?
"I've seen 67 MPH" Is that on the obviously over-optimistic speedometer or actual GPS speed? Most of these smaller scooters go to the edge of the rules, which are 0.000% under, but +10% + additional 2MPH over actual speed, so an indicated 56 at actual 50, or in this case 59 actual at 67 indicated.
@@UsernameKate Lying speedometers have only ever made me go faster. It used to be "add 10% to know your actual speed" then I got first a bicycle computer, later on GPS and then SpeedoHealers, but I still feel that I'm going less than the limit, unless I'm actually going 10% over. Now here in Denmark, 80% of the drivers use the Saphe speed trap warning app, so we are virtually immune to the speed traps. Now I mostly go as fast as I can, without risking a point on my license, so just shy of 20% too fast.
I have worn a pink toto and rode a Honda Spree to the bank. On a bet. At least I didn't have to roll through the grocery store pants down on a skateboard singing "With my Spear and magic Helmet" My friend lost that bet. Also, got an indecent ticket and never allowed in that store again. Boys will be Boys.
Although a Suzuki fan not sure scooters are my thing. However loving the idea of 125’s and being about to just rag the bike and have huge fun and still be in the speed limits. Also bikes with storage built in why is this not a thing on every commuter bike 🤷🏻♂️
Before this Suzuki did a 110 Address with an air cooled carb fed motor ,it would go to the moon & back on a few litres of fuel & do 65 mph & blow many 125 scoots into the weeds . This model looks more sophisticated ,more suited to your city farty skinny latte cafe set . But it should be reliable & well built as it’s carrying the Suzuki badge & good buy for those looking for a small neat economical scoot . 👍
I have to say that I was surprised to see you riding a scooter, especially after the 1290 KTM Superduke ! It looks OK though, 5 litres ? YUK ! Think I'd rather catch a bus TBH. Nice riding though as usual. Am convinced you may have had to edit some of your Dad's comments though :)

Having this for past 6 years now. Engine is extremely reliable though body is a bit flimsy.
great urban transport🙂
This is the retro scooter that I wish Suzuki would bring it to the Philippines.
I am gonna buy the adress this year. I only have to scrambble the cash and Suzuki will be minę. I am debating only between the adress or yamaha delight 125, both come with the same price range and both will be relible, so its a choice on looks. Love your video ❤
Which do you reckon you’ll go for?
@@NewWorldHoarder not sure yet
@@Tomasz-y3e I’m seeing the Yamaha for a grand more. For me the address would be a no brainier.
@@NewWorldHoarder whatever you prefer. From my perspective both are decent bikes. Good Japanese brands both
It slightly grinds my gears/belt when I keep hearing western bike reviewers criticise manufacturers for not making engines at the limit of a specific liscense class.
Im 5 11 would i be to big for it?
"I've seen 67 MPH" Is that on the obviously over-optimistic speedometer or actual GPS speed? Most of these smaller scooters go to the edge of the rules, which are 0.000% under, but +10% + additional 2MPH over actual speed, so an indicated 56 at actual 50, or in this case 59 actual at 67 indicated.
It meant I saw it on the dash. Pretty much all speedos are out to a degree and on the Scotland trip we compare it to GPS 😊
Kickstarter?
Yes
I used to own vespa sprint 1983, now thats a scooter .. third gear wheelie lol 😂
Are we getting a vlog of the ride????
Yeah, me and mike rode these to scotland and back covering 600+ miles, just need to get around to editing it
@@UsernameKate buzzing to see that xx
I love your 125cc challenges, that sets you apart from other channels. I'm a big scooter and motorcycle fan, each has it's strengths.@@UsernameKate
The NC750 (in my latest vlog that's just gone live) has under tank storage 😊
£450 for top box and carrier,i got mine for nothing when i bought my suzuki address 110,which is much better, does go not bad,but will keep my one,
why suzuki put gas tank hole there? very weird design
Dont think i could get used to a riding style of a scoot…always had my leg over 😂….
They are insanely comfy
When was the last time you got a leg over?
Thank you very much for your explanation. What is your height?
2nd best selling scooter in india, but name is different" access 125" we also get ride connect and full digital display with this.
they need to release this in the philippines
Before this Suzuki did a 110 Address with an air cooled carb fed motor ,it would go to the moon & back on a few litres of fuel & do 65 mph & blow many 125 scoots into the weeds . This model looks more sophisticated ,more suited to your city farty skinny latte cafe set . But it should be reliable & well built as it’s carrying the Suzuki badge & good buy for those looking for a small neat economical scoot . 👍
Whats the deal with not being able to ride in town after 4pm?
You can't ride in between certain times so pedestrians get free roam 🤣
I'm in the sticks in Somerset where pedestrians roam free all the time. Are they kept locked up at other times up North? 😅
no haha but it means they can roam without the cars coming through, I think it was an initiative to get the high street bustling again.
that would be a great round town shopper be under the radar from the type that like to steal the more powerful scooters. ATB 👍🏻
Scooter are such a good laugh, real bikers will ride anything
@@UsernameKate Quite so madam .... yes :)
In India's best sctoor same better mileage 😊😊😊
That's pretty fast, but I weigh 290 lbs. I might break the tension on the suspension. I bet it's a lot of fun to ride 😂
the weight difference in me and mike was really noticable
Suzuki address 125
Made in india?
The dog would not sleep😮🇬🇧
