JASO MB engine oil / scooter oil will work better on your scooter rather than the one you use on this video.
You’re right! Thanks for the tip. I’ve learned something there. I’ll make sure to use MB stuff next time 👍
Is this oil ok ? : www.ebay.com.au/itm/MOTUL-5100-10W-50-1-Litre-4-stroke-Engine-Oil-TechnoSynthese-with-Ester/222650980683?epid=1737143399
Kindly suggest best one to buy, i can able to find only this one from ebay.

@@arjitagrawal4240 JASO MA2 lubricant (eg. motul 5100) for bikes with wet clutch, which needs extra acceleration since anti-slip clutch additive added. JASO MA2 is not fit on scooter since the engine hidden induce higher engine temperature excalete higher friction thus it needs friction modifier additive added lubricant. If it's hard to find JASO MB lubricant, you may use 10w40 engine oil, API SJ or higher. it would good enough for the Suzuki Address scooter.

Thanks Geoff. Much appreciated. Things are a bit quiet at this time of year, but looking forward to doing some more Address videos soon 👍
Congrats on the camerawork and lighting, it makes it look clear.
So happy I found this channel. Thank you.
Very helpful for a Suzuki Address owner such as I. Thank you kindly for sharing the knowledge 👍

Excellent! I hope you enjoy riding it! 👍
@@MechitBetter what should i buy the suzuki address 110 or the honda vision 110? is the suzuki just as reliable as the honda. i heard its accel goes faster
I think both are excellent and very reliable scooters. I would buy whichever I could get the better deal on 👍
Brilliant video, just booked my 110 in for it's first service to keep the warranty. But will probably do the rest of the services myself
Cheers Jim. I can understand trying to maintain the warranty. It’s worth having, but easy enough to DIY in the future.
I had originally intended to get a brand new Address but didn’t want to be tied in to their servicing, so ended up getting one just under 3 years old. I’m loving it so far 👍
This is super useful, thanks so much! I adore my little Suzuki Address and this is a great video for a new biker. :)
Thank you 👍
Nice video! I am a car owner from Taiwan. The operation is very detailed.
Thank you, very simple but detail on how to service the scooter. I just got myself a used one. Really appreciate the video.

I am planning to get this scooter next to my Suzuki Smash 115 underbone/moped bike. What I am attracted the most in this scoot is its simplistic and minimalistic yet power-maximized design. Also it is easy to maintain which is one of the recipe for operational longevity...
I was attracted to it for all the same reasons. It’s not a fancy scooter, but simple and understated. I still love it 👍
thanks for your channel guys! have watched it before i bought the same scooter :) and still watching it whenever i service it :)

Clear and concise displaying knowledge and mechanical sympathy (retired mechanic myself) very good :-) .
Thanks Pete. Much appreciated!
@@MechitBetter' Not sure if it was this or one of the other vids but you quote torque settings and showed a manual/book you were referring to. Was it a genuine Suzuki Workshop Manual/Hand Book or a Haynes/Clymer jobbie? and where did you get it please. Pete.
I’ve not yet found a manual of any kind for this bike. The dealer has occasionally printed off things from the manual they have, but I can’t get him to share the whole thing! What few things he has shared do have the relevant torque settings. Hope that helps.
Bookmarked!
Just bought a new 2021 Adress, so this will come in handy 👍
Thank you!!
Well it seems like a really really basic video - for the total Newbies I guess 😁
Would have loved if you showed us how you cleaned the filters - gasoline or what you used;
Annyway, you just got a new Subscriber!
Well done 👍
No nonsense video, thank you.
Great video thanks. Just wanted to add that there is a smaller O Ring that goes inside where the filter slides onto the raised section. The O Ring came out with my dirty filter. I just checked this O Ring wiped it clean and put it back in side the housing where it belongs. It would be handy if 2 New O Rings came with the Filter. It does for my Royal Enfield.
In Indonesia, Suzuki motorbikes are the brand with the best quality materials. I like and enjoy this Suzuki Address motorbike. Comfortable, sturdy frame, fuel efficient and very easy and cheap engine maintenance. Even though many official Suzuki motorbike dealers have closed in Indonesia, getting spare parts is still very easy here.
Good bike. I have over 11.000 km, no problems. Only Services. Easy to Drive 👍

Thank you! I hope this video helps you to service your bike when necessary 👍👍
Thanks for the service information
You’re welcome 👍
Thanks for the upload bud. I have subscribed. My 16 reg address engine management light flashes amber 3 times, which I believe indicates it needs a service and then a full amber light comes on when u try to kick or electric start it. The service flashing light only started with the full amber light when it wouldn’t start, 3/4 mins after last using it. Thanks for the upload. The service is the first place I will start.
It was the battery that was faulty, if anyone has the problem and is new to the address. 3 flashing lights indicates a battery problem
Ah excellent. Thanks for letting us know. I’ve been hoping to find the time to check the manual for you, but you beat me to it. Glad you got it sorted 👍
Great video - thanks for sharing.
Thanks! No problem. Hope it’s helpful for you 👍
@@MechitBetter- I'm in the process of deciding what bike to buy. I'm looking at BMW 310 GS vs a much more affordable scooter (either Suzuki Address 110 or Honda Elite 125). Your video definitely makes it possible to self-service this scooter even for those of us that are not very experienced in servicing our own bikes.
The scooters are certainly easy enough to ride and work on but the GS or something similar makes longer distance easier. Tough decision! How about the Kawasaki Versys 300? That looks like a nice bike. Or even a bigger scooter? The Kawasaki J300 looks good. Best of both worlds 👍
Wow, absolute legendary service I'd say.... extremely educational self service... camera angle was great and indeed lovely Delta.....
thank you.. can you do a similar video for honda vision 110 , may be if you can get hold it of ?
Hi, thanks! Glad that you enjoyed it. I don’t know anyone who owns a vision 110 unfortunately!

That was awesome thanks, very patient and very thorough. Would it be possible to list all the tools, consumables, oil etc. in the comments section. I can just imagine starting the service and finding out I am missing a measuring jug or a means of measuring the spark plugs. That electric screwdriver make/type would be useful too?
Thank you for your informative video....
As we're looking for an motorbike that is easy to take care(DIY)
The Suzuki Address is a great bike to work on. Many of the jobs are simple to do at home, so it should be easy for you to work on. Good luck with your bike! 👍
@@MechitBetter Thanks
Amazing! My Address is being delivered later this week. I'm really confident about Address-ing (sorry) the bike when needs be thanks to your great videos. Thank you! n_n
Haha, cool! Thanks! There’ll be more Address videos coming as the jobs need doing on mine. I’m sure you’ll love yours. Enjoy and get stuck in. It’s a great bike 👍
@@MechitBetter I don't suppose you could let me know what size the vent holes are on the front brake disc, please? I'm trying to get all my security equipment purchased before the Address arrives, and want to pick up a disc lock. Looking forward to new videos! :)
No worries. The holes are just about 5.5mm so a 5mm pin is the thickest you could go if you want to use the holes. The disc is so small that I sometimes lock mine through the larger tear shaped holes in the centre. If you’re doing that then you could probably go bigger, but 5mm should be fine 👍
@@MechitBetter Wow, thank you so much! Using the tear-shaped vents/holes is a good idea. I'll see what's available. Top man :)
No worries. Any time 👍
Thank you very much.
Hoping to use this video later on today to help me! Ran low on oil and added some old oil to it that was too thin. Hope that taking off everything and cleaning it out myself will save a trip to the garage! Really helpful video, hope I can get it sorted using this!
Thanks Ellie. What oil did you put in that was too thin? Either way, refreshing everything with the right stuff should sort it. Give us a shout if you get stuck 👍
@@MechitBetter it was oil that had been sitting for a while in the shed, so guessing that was why it was very thin unsure what it was as a friend helped. Yeah, hopefully a cleanup and the correct oil will do! Appreciate the help, will do!
@@MechitBetter Did everything, engine light is still on though! The filter does have oil on it so my guess is that's what is keeping the light on! Will be ordering a new one and get it changed over

.A video for valve control had been estimated. How often should such a thing be done ? km?
Thank you 👍 The valve clearances should be checked first at 1000km, then at 4000km and 8000km, and then every 4000km after that (12k, 16k, 20k etc).
When I get around to checking mine, I’ll make a video of the process.
very useful video..TKS
Cheers Marco 👍
Thank you!!
legend ! good video shooting and your explanation is very well explain ! BTW, is Suzuki Address 110 a good scooter to have for city run ?
Thanks! Yes it’s an awesome scooter for a city. Join the ‘Suzuki Address 110i’ owners group on Facebook and see how happy people are. Everyone seems to love them and they’re well built and reliable. No build quality issues or common faults. Regular servicing will see you through a lot of miles 👍
thank you!
Great video mate! helped heaps. Can you do any mods to get some more Hp out of these??
Many THX !!!
Bonjour, votre video est tres intéressante. Merci
Merci beaucoup! 😁👍
New to scooters and thinking about buying this model in Thailand.
A few questions -
1) Does the bike require valve adjustment as well? If so, is it locknut or shim. I'm assuming locknut.
2) What's the secondary short lever for on the left (I assume the left lever is rear brake like a bicycle)?
Awesome video. Will come in handy should I choose this or a similar model. Also looking at the Fazzio.
Thanks again!
Hi. This bike will need the valve clearances checking occasionally. If they need adjusting, they are of a locknut type. It’s very easy to adjust them, but they rarely need adjustment anyway. The left lever is for the rear brake. There short lever in front of that is to allow you to lock the rear brake on if you need to. Perhaps if you’re facing downhill etc. it acts like the hand-brake in a car. I hope that helps. These Suzuki scooters are excellent 👍
Thanks for vid
Thanks for watching! 👍👍
Hi thank you for the videos they’ve helped me out on my address on many occasions.
installed a new battery about a month ago but today my address won’t start on the button ? Just wondered if there was anything I could check ?
If you have a multimeter you can check the voltage before you start it. It should be around 12.7v if it’s fully charged. Anything near 12.2v is low. Then if possible, see what the voltage dips to as you try to start the bike. If it drops drastically then the battery could be damaged. It has been cold though, and the battery is only tiny on the Address. Cold weather will make it harder to start so the battery needs to be well charged. Of course, it could be a different problem entirely. What symptoms are you getting?
Perfect video congrats! Any idea why 700ml isn't enough for full level? Greetings from Greece
Good guide, though you should have mentioned that there is a small 0-ring that sits between the oil filter and the engine that can come out attached to the oil filter, it's important to check this has not happened and if so then put the O-ring back in place on the engine, using a clean screwdriver passed through the O-ring as a guide.
Thanks for great video
I have Suzuki address I bought 3 months ago
It’s worked 4800 km
When I should adjust valve and replace the spark plug?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. The official schedule says you should inspect the valves every 4000km and replace the spark plug every 8000km. In the real world I would imagine that you could just inspect and adjust the valves when you change the spark plug every 8-10 thousand KM. the valves clearances rarely need any adjustment 👍
This bike assembled from Indonesia🇲🇨. Located Tambun Bekasi.
Thanks.
Amazing tutorial, thankyou for making step by step video.
I just want to ask some questions.
1. When i am pressing right brake, a sound is coming from tyre side i guess (sound like metal clanging, not sure how to tell it :p ) , so do i need to worry about this ?
2. Which tools do i need to buy in order to open nuts and change engine oil/filter ? (I do not want to buy unnecessary tools).
3. How to replace front light bulb ? (present one no more working). And which size/name bulbs i need to buy ?
Thankyou.
Hi Arjit. Thanks for your questions.
Yes I would be concerned about the noise from your brakes. They should be silent. Can you upload/send a video of the noise?
My apologies but I can’t remember exactly which size tools I used, but I think I mentioned the sizes in this video. In any case, a simple socket set will cover everything you need and be really useful for other maintenance jobs.
The front light bulb is hidden behind the front panel. I have a video here which shows you how to remove that. The main headlight is a 12v 35/35w (HS1) bulb, which is held in I think with a wire clip. Once you’ve removed the front panel, you should be able to see how it’s removed.
I hope that helps. If you have any more questions, give me a shout 👍
@@MechitBetter Hello, thankyou for answers, i don't know how to record noise i am facing because it only happen when the bike is running.
"Socket set", thankyou i will buy it.
The front light top bulb is ok, i was asking about 2 small light bulb at front down (installed with indicator bulbs).
Regards
If you are experiencing strange brake noises when riding, my advice would be to take the bike to a professional mechanic and let them look at the problem. Being able to brake is the most important thing!
The bulb you need is a 12v/5w sidelight bulb. The holder is just pushed in to the light unit. Remove the front panel and pull out the holder, then pull out the bulb from the holder to replace 👍
I love product suzuki ❤️ from 🇲🇨
We love it too 👍 🇬🇧
Thanks for the in depth service video was enjoyable to watch, how does the scooter go?
Thanks for watching. The scooter goes well. The service made no difference to the performance, but it goes as well as it ever did 👍
For only having a 110cc engine this little scooter is a flying machine. Iv had mine hitting 70 downhill, not that I ride it like that as norm but its a great scooter and can hit 50 pretty quickly. You have no quams about joining carriage ways or fast roads worrying about getting up to speed cause its just not an issue. Great video. 👌
Thanks Paul. I agree that the performance surprised me for a little scooter. Obviously it suffers a little going up hill, but overall it’s great 👍
I am assuming that it’s oil cooled with a heat exchanger because the barrel and head assembly has no fins as far as I can see. Lovely little engine.
Thanks for the information. It is a big help and I like how you explain. Is there a chance that you can create a video on how to install cellphone holder with charger on my suzuki address 110. I dont know if the wires need to attached on the battery or to the ignition. Im confused. Thanks again
Hi Kathleen. Thanks for your question. We’ve just uploaded a video that might help you 👍
Wow. Thank you
You’re welcome 😀
2:31 I have 2013 Suzuki Let's 110 with same engine like Address. I clean a drain plug and o-ring with soapy water and dry it to make sure when I put it back and tighten it won't leak again.
Hi - Thanks for the tip 👍
Oh and I forgot. I apply some thin layer of oil to protect o-ring from pinching too.
details vid 👍
Hey mate, nice detailed video, thanks for that 👍 I have a question if not using the scooter for up to 6 months, and also can't access it during these months what would your advice be on the battery situation? Scooter has no kick-start. So is there anything I should do to help it for not draining it? Would it help to take the leads off the poles ? Any other advice?
Cheers. Thanks for watching. If you’re leaving the bike for 6 months then I’d suggest leaving the battery on a trickle/smart charger if you can. They can be bought for little money and will keep the battery healthy over winter. Removing the leads might help but isn’t the best solution. If you can’t leave the battery on charge then remove it from the bike completely and leave it indoors in the warmth. I’d also recommend using some fuel stabiliser to prevent the fuel going off, especially if you’re using fuel with a 10% ethanol content. The ethanol will cause problems if left for that long. Hope that helps 👍
@@MechitBetter Thanks for your answer, the bike will be a holiday bike will be standing in an underground garage in spain, will not have access to power, I think it never gets really cold there. Great tip about adding something to the petrol, didn't know something like that existed 😀 I will look up what that is and where to find it, have a nice weekend.
A holiday bike in Spain sounds like great fun. If it doesn’t get cold then just disconnect the leads as you suggested. I’d still expect it to need charging once you get back to the bike though. Enjoy 👍
@@MechitBetter Cheers mate! 🍻
I just want to ask a question. The yellow light that comes on when you start the Suzuki address 110 sometimes stays on while it is moving. What really happens?
Very good video, thanks! Where did you get the service manual? I'm looking for one on the internet, but unfortunately I can't find one. Thanks
Hey, thanks! There isn’t a manual that’s publicly available. The Suzuki dealers have one for their own mechanics, but I’ve not managed to get them to share it yet! They have usually been willing to do me a little print out from it if there’s a specific job I need to do. It might be worth asking your local dealer. You might have more luck than I’ve had. If you do, send me a copy! 👍
Best value for money scooter
Agreed. An excellent machine! 😁
Im about to change my gear oil, and I just watched your video to see what type of oil you use.
So I just use my engine oil? - 10w40 silkolene pro4 fully synthetic?
Thought I should use the can of 80w90 hypoid gearoil that I have on the shelf from previous ownerships of honda motorcycles with shaftdrive.. But no? Just engine oil?
Just engine oil, like it specifies in the owners manual 👍
Great video quick question for you, do you know where i could find a replacement oil drain plug? Cant seem to find one online
Hiya Richard. I couldn’t say for certain where you’d get one other than the main dealer. I’ve had a few bits direct from Suzuki and they’ve always been sensibly priced 👍
