We have not but I don’t see why you couldn’t. Propane use is really going to depend on how you use it. How hot does it need to get and for how long. I didn’t find the use to be excessive.
I love my oven and think its underrated. Spend the extra for the professional so you get thermostat control... Set it and forget it. I'm not baking bread, but warm cookies around a campfire is amazing. This oven is my luxury item at the campsite. Any foodie that camps needs one.
Mine is running from a new propane cylinder and a standard 37 mBar regulator, but I'm only getting a very low flame on the burners. Oven seems OK. Any ideas?
Hmm, we found that sometimes the regulator didn't seat correctly. Once we tried to put it back in place it was fine. Try that, and if it doesn't work I would get in touch directly with Camp Chef.
I have a question: What size cooking flat plate do I need for top to say cooking pancakes , hash browns and eggs all at the same time. And where can I buy thats affordable?
I guess it depends on how many people? I would get a flat plate that would fit over both burners personally? Or maybe a different Camp Chef grill with the griddle accessory.

I'm have a camp chef oven it is great but gas regulator on the back of the machine was bad it was fully tightened and burnt everything in the back of my truck on fire I was burnt badly in an ambulance had to take me to the hospital afterwards after healing for over a month I checked out the regulator it is bad probably one out of a million but caused me a lot of financial headache I still like camp chef and will continue to buy their products but just wanted to share my experience I'm currently in a lawsuit with camp chef

You just move the dial like a normal (old school) kitchen oven.
