I don't even waste my time nowadays watching Xianxia dramas, it's just the same plot with different faces.
I got you😊 me either, bcoz I have difficulties to remember their names, titles, relationship, n when they reincarnated they will have new id...but the same faces.....aaagh😅 but my cousin likes that kind of drama, so yeah, there r still many fans out there for xianxia

Good xianxia is hard to come by nowadays. I skipped and quitted a lot of them. So sad.

I'm ok with cdrama story of a couple working together, in the literal sense and not some pointless yakking, to "save the world" when the problem is not directly or indirectly the result of their love/hate relationship(s). Unfortunately many xianxia drama premise and character setups are dumb deities doing unwise things all the time. Fans point out that viewers have God's eye view that the characters don't have, but aren't these characters gods, often the highest/noblest/most powerful gods?
Under The Skin 2. I've been waiting for this series for a long time. The trailer is scary and great. Shen Yi turns black. I watched Season 1 three times, the actors are great, the script is great, the background is very well shot. This series has a long tail. I'm waiting impatiently

The synopsis of zly and yin fan's drama is confusing. How come two different individuals act in a multiple personality disorder drama? It is a psychiatric condition where one person changes his or her mentality at different times but, it has to be the same person coz the person doesn't undergo physical changes, it is only about the person's psychology that changes.....
I'm looking forward to Chen Xiao drama. It appears to me like his similar character in 'Nothing Gold can stay'.

I get what you're saying about xianxia dramas. I quitted watching Kunning palace after the stabbing scene. But I still hope to see something good soon. Waiting for Fangs of Fortune, the trailer looked very good (though I liked not all of the actors).

It's not mention in this video, but the new iQiyi drama The Limbo (Chinese title: Twenty One Days0 staring Ou Hao is quite an interesting thriller, worth checking out. I also like You Are My Lover Friend released last week.
As an uncultured American I have to ask just how big the Demigods and the Semidevils is. It was an amazing story and I absolutely loved it. "Not to restore the nation of Yan is emptiness. To restore the nation of Yan is also emptiness." Will stick with me all my days.
Covering lots of ground in your review. Looking forward to some of these second/third season dramas. Despite being a historical drama fan I like to listen to your take (mostly negative) on these. Can't see myself ever watching another Allen Ren drama as he is the most wooden actor in either genre. Watched seven episodes of Love of Nirvana and despite liking Landi Li and Jeremy Tsui, Allen Ren's character is too sadistic for my taste which makes an already dislikable actor only more so.
Today, there was booting ceremony of zheng yichen's new costume drama. All I am waiting for is to see his sword fighting scenes😊😊

He is not a bad guy. A Shen Yi who struggles with the devil inside him is coming. Unfortunately, the trailer has not been released abroad, I wish it was released and everyone could see it. I like to see Tan JianCi in different roles, the actor should be able to do every role.
Btw, i have a bit out of the place request, I wish AvenueX would review Queen Woo, I really want to watch your expertise view for this drama
Hi I have to say, with all the sex and gore, it still was disappointingly predictable, through casting alone...Would be interesting indeed, as a contrast to historic c-drama, to hear a review
It is rumored that RJL was forced to do that drama as a final project for Huan Rui. Look like part of his exit package, given that he had to do two HR heavily invested dramas in his final days in that agency.
Fans are having fun, observing his treatment towards this new drama. Like he wont even bother to post/pomote about this in his weibo and sneakily gesturing Love of Nivana's moon sign throughout the ceremony😅
So far some of the Iqiyi dramas looks very promising. Keeping my eyes out for them when it drops! Thanks for your reviews, I rely on them a lot of weed out low quality/time wasting content.
One of the earliest c-dramas that I watched and which certainly draw me into watching more c-dramas is the psychological drama Seven or Seven of me. Now I am really interested in the Zhao liying's drama.
The last Tang Yan drama I remember is a period one which I end up dropping after the first episode but I clearly remember AvenueX's rant video. I have watched it multiples times.. at least more than thrice.

Yeah it can get ridiculous sometimes, with some idol dramas. I feel for creators in China, with all the censorship. Sometimes "difficulty can inspire", but you have to have SOME "leeway" or you cant, creatively "move" and create. Lets hope for the best. I need new GOOD dramas to watch. I often dont care about if the trope is old or even overused. As long as the actors are good and they and the creators and everyone, do a good job, and/or something interesting and new "using something old". I think there are good actors in china, that are capable, even among the young ones. Sometimes I DO miss the old type of actors, though from allover the world, China, USA, Europe allover, like for instance Takeshi Kitano, Rutger Hauer and so on. With the dedication. I hope they find the Chow Yun Fat of this generation soon. Theres just something about an actor, that can "do it", "with energy alone", you know? hm, maybe I should rewatch "The Hitcher" soon ? Kinda feeling it. Well among this generation, I still do love Wu Jinyan. An I think she has potential, even if its not always used to the fullest.
