Modded mine with Akrapovic Slip on and Decat, Brembo RCS19 master cylinder and Brembo M4 calipers. Dyno tuned to 175hp and some new pirelli supercorsa...this machine is mental. It is an absolutely pleasure to ride, the ohlins are incredible and the engine is hands down the best inline 4 i've tried. It pulls almost like a 2 cylinder in the low-mid rpms and it continue to give u horsepower untill the red zone. Tried also the '22 model but IMHO the changes they have made are not worth the extra money, they have added many electronic controls that during every day riding u will never activate ... the only thing I think is useful is the blipper. My full Brembo setup is still a lot better than the upgraded barkes of '22

awesome breakdown, I read the manual but this was much easier to follow. I upgraded my sp with brembo braking system and now it's amazing on all levels

I have a MT10.. But just did a deal to get an SP.. I wasn't blown away by the suspension. My standard 10 is awesome.
However i think you need more than a two hour test ride to play with the suspension.
Needs a professional set up.
So hopefully within a week I'll be riding in on my 10 touring and riding out on my Sp

Hi PBB, good choice, what did it for me was the paint scheme, dash, ohlins - I took mine to get the sag set correct for my weight and mainly ride in A1 firmest but while touring I switch to A2 a bit softer. I do however find that adjusting the number by 1 in all softer in A1 is just about right for me. Enjoy your SP 👍

No 1 the most aggressive throttle and 3 the least! Power modes do not alter the power only throttle aggressiveness 👍
I just purchased the mt 10 I couldn't see where the sp was available in the US I dont think the suspension can be adjusted electronically on the standard model?
Hi Kevin, SP version is not available in USA. No electronic suspension on the standard one but manually adjustment only 👍
hello Nik I have a question.. with tcs turn on to 3.. it shouldn't wheelie atall right, so let's say ur in mode A with tcs at 3 , from launch , full open throttle.. would it just take off fast or flip if u suddenly dumped the clutch..
Correct yes set to 3 the bike won’t lift the wheel under hard acceleration, only a few inches then it will sit the front tyre down. Unless you drop the clutch from standing start that is
great review of the mt10sp screen have the 2018 mt10 got it back in june used to own a Africa twin 2017 only kept it for 10 months not much powder from it did you put the cat back on to much noise lol

What’s that red light shaped as a triangle on the left side of the screen
It’s just the engine check lights that come on before starting, once started they go out. Same as most vehicles 👍
Had an SP since January and been out on a good few rides now that the weather is better. The one thing I can not workout is how to reset the trip clock how do you do that? I hold the wheel in for 4 seconds and it make it flash but does not reset it. Thanks
Ok when it flashes release and press and hold again until you see zero

Hold scroll wheel down, when flashing press scroll wheel once and it zeros out

Have only had my mt10sp for a few weeks. Had a 2016 mt10 For a year and didn't have this feature.
Yes been pretty accurate to me, I did get better mileage after an ecu flash as bike runs lean from stock. Flash make the furling spot on what it should be
Can I connect a smartphone and use it for music or calls?
(By the way, it looks like a 22 model MT10 SP, but I can't believe it's a video from 5 years ago.)
No Bluetooth connection no. Yes it was modern screen at the time, only the SP had it and now standard latest MT10’s have a colour TFT

Hey, what is the difference between your Mode-B and C if the PWR is 2 and the TCS is 2 and the suspension is on A1 in both modes? Cheers,
Hey Adam, so the modes a,b,c,d can be configures so example A could be Power 1, TCS 1, A1 - B could be Power 2, TCS 2, A2 and so on you configure how you like really.
Also modes can only be changed at standstill. you can while riding as log as you close the throttle change Power, TCS and Suspension on the current mode your on while riding and don’t have to stop. TBH I kind of like to ride in Power 2 which throttle is more usable not so jerky and TCS2 so wheelies are good but safety mechanism not to flip it 😂 on suspension I use A1 but in the menus soften by a click or two and find that’s perfect for my riding style.
MotoUk thanks a lot for your explanation. have you tried in PWR2 that it really stops you go higher than a meterish? I didn’t see that one meter figure in any other reviews. I’m still playing around with my settings, and don’t want to overcook a wheelie, but looks like never pulled up high enough to see if it cuts off or not. Also would like to know if it’s really that big of a difference after a Ecu flash, and finally if there is a big difference between the widow linkpipe and the LeoVince. Was it really that silly loud and the other one is loud enough but not obnoxiously loud? Sorry for the number of questions, I’m using it as a daily commuter as well, and still trying to find the settings, and accessories that suit me best. Cheers
So on power 2 it will cut in and I have felt it but if you roll back into the throttle it could flip. Best cover the rear brake to be safe. On ecu flash worth it yes. When I had the black widow link it was with the standard end can. I had the Leo with the akra so hard to compare. But Leo is meant to be a different tone. Either way these bikes with a decat they are all loud

My fuel gauge is not accurate. Is there a "miles left" setting anywhere in there?
Not that I remember no, wish there was. Since I sold the MT10SP I don’t miss the bad mileage.
How to set lift control?
It doesn’t have only new model
Are the settings only for SP or both ?
SP only as standard is different

Louie the tft only comes on the SP version, this bike is not available in USA, not sure where your based. The dash menu is for the ohlins electronic suspension so it’s never an easy swap you may have to change lots of things. Check your dealer
How to turn off Quick Shifter ?
Never wanted to turn it off, did you check the manual 👍
Why would you want to turn it off? Leave it on! If you want to change gears with clutch just use clutch. Quickshifter can be enabled at any time.

No on this 2017 version but new one does
