JAMES is clever but not great. I predict it will be the winner. I am presently reading MY FRIENDS which is both tender and violent, and suspenseful as well. Tommy Orange is a fine writer but I have not read this one yet.
Wild Houses is set in Mayo. The accent alone is a delight. I have a copy on audio. The three I’ve read Stone Yard Devotional is good Orbital is ok Enlightenment is disappointing
I love the singing
I am rooting for My Friends!
Bewilderment was my favorite book the year I read it and perhaps in my top 3-5 of all my reads ever . Blahdiggityblah, comment allowance overdrawn
I’m think that Head Shot, Wild Houses, Enlightenment, and Held might be the books I choose from the list.
Wild Houses sounds interesting although Irish books often tend to play somewhere in the province. Good luck with your own book now!
@@Rainierbooks Thank you Rainer.
So many books with over 4 star ratings on Goodreads is pretty impressive. Looking forward to your thoughts on Elizabeth Hay’s book. 😊💙
@@BookwormAdventureGirl i can reveal that I love Hay's writing and wish she had more readers also outside Canada.

Are you going to read more? Wow, now I am curious for the Mayo accent.
