They may be retired and all, but they still got style and are still going strong outside the TV screen. Age is NOTHING to be afraid of, as one character in a Mad TV skit once said. These TV Western legends still got style, even outside the TV screen. God bless them dearly :)
Jewneel Walker: I just love this video of Robert Fuller playing the spoons. He is very good at it. I didn't know he could do that. I love him playing Jess Harper on Laramie. Good job playing the spoons Robert. Jewneel
My uncles all played the spoons. At frequent family gatherings, one might start out playing a fiddle, then a few aunts and uncles got up to dance a bit, then out came the spoons and everyone would get dancing. So much fun. Horseshoes, badminton, and homespun music. Sack races, river or lake swimming, and every autumn at harvest time everyone pitched in. Men cracking hazelnuts, walnuts, pecans, huge amounts, and they’d pick the fruit and veg galore. The women got all the many canning jars out and immaculate, sweat on their brows as they worked, and by end of long end of summer days, glistening rows of preserved foods of every kind, for winter were sitting undisturbed on every countertop, bar top, folding tables… we kids ran around all day playing, swimming and grabbed sleeping bags to sleep out overnight, not a care in the world, in a freshly mowed field, used a hay bale torn up as mattresses. We’d gaze up at the millions of stars and just had a great time every year. Wake early, the sun just rising, frost on the ground and chilly, and race back to the house dragging our stuff along, to get breakfast, where the parents were already up cooking it. Hard workers, happy people, close family. They enjoyed each other’s company, they were friends. Life was simpler and imho so much finer then. Thanks for those memories flooding back, and for showing my favorite man on Earth playing spoons like I remember throughout my lifetime. :-)

I liked this one because you have to have a lot of talent to play the spoons and have joking around with Tony. JC
SEE a gangsta automated post of JESS HARPER on my website -----www.tanmannix.com/automated-tan-maxwell-posts-- -- and LARAMIE posts on it as well.
