Sometimes I wonder why EA doesn’t hire all these talented modders but then I think about how things would probably be so different if they did. Like maybe it wouldn’t feel as special? I think mods and cc brings the community together and it’s so cool to like discover how much farther the game can go with things that people created. I've already downloaded and started playing this mod 2 days ago! It really is a game changer. I've missed the open world in the Sims 3 so the fact that this was done in the sims 4 is absolutely awesome! I hope one day EA finally realizes what simmer really want though: - Open World for all - Functional Cars - Actual and functional Babies with wardrobes instead of just being objects. I always age them right away to toddlers after birth because, as babies, they're useless - Graveyards with ghost circulating at night (Which were present in sims 3) - Color Wheel in CAS and in Build Mode for pattern/color/texture/material/... modification - Job Carpools picking a sim up to go to work (I remember this mostly in Sims 2 where with each promotion, an upgraded/better car comes to pick the sim up for work and in one career, Business as I remember, once you've reached the highest rank, a helicopter comes to pick the sim up for work - MORE realistic career options please!! Ex: Pharmacist, Dentist, Architectural Designer (which was an option in the sims 3: Ambitions where the sims is notified to actually go to another sims' house to change the design of a certain room according to a budget the customer proposes), Tattoo Artist, Kindergarten/Day care teacher which can be an open profession where you can actually join your sim to the daycare and take care of actual toddlers at work by fulfilling their needs (It would be so cute), Marine Biologist, and many more jobs can be added... - MORE afterschool activities (There were ballet dancing and soccer playing options in the Sims 3 Generations which I really miss) and more can be added such as; chess club, chemistry club,... - This might be something not all of you remember and it might be something very detailed but it actually improved the sims 3 a lot back then and would love to see it back in the Sims 4. That being said, I want the various types of relationships between Sims to be brought back; In Sims 3 Generation we were able to see father/mother/brother/sister in-law as a relationship between the sims which is also seen in the family tree. (In the sims 4 there are no "in-laws" relationship when check check a relationship between 2 sims. And also the "ask for hand in marriage" action from a sim to their partner's parent is something I always loved, like to get the parent's approval which is so cute! Not to mention the Bachelor/Bachelorette party where an exotic dancer comes to perform! I have more options but these are the essential ones I could think of at 5:30 am in the morning haha... Feel free to add more options if you remember or want a game option/detail to be brought back to the sims 4 or something/proposal which you think would be a great addition to the game!

I'm not going to do that because that's still engagement, even if it's bad engagement, but seriously, please stop. Edit: looks like you're a kid. Internet hate can be brutal and I've seen other spam commenters get absolutely trashed because of this, so be careful. The few extra views aren't worth it mate, but I wish you luck on your channel.
When EA says things can't be done, they probably don't mean that they are technically impossible. Very few things are technically impossible. What they mean is it's infeasible given the time constraints and budget constraints they're under. It can also mean that the higher ups really don't like the idea of spending X amount of time and Y amount of money to get Z result, and would prefer to spend less time and less money on something else. Usually when it's this, they'll say something about it not matching their "vision" for the game or whatever. I'm a developer myself; fluent in corporate BS.
Nihilist Porcupine Yes I agree but They did say open world would be impossible. They said they couldn't make sims4 open world after the point it was completed and released. To do it would mean starting the game from development level and reworking the entire system. I understand they could never have made the original two world's open but obviously (having seen this mode) it would have been possible to do it with world's that came later... Or at least possible for this modder.
I think the fact that she kept missing buildings is bc we're all so used to having like 10 lots per world that we just ignore the surrounding buildings but in this almost everything's functional so she keeps discovering new places

How's that a random someone with a computer at home can make this game like a thousand times better than a group of IT specialists who work on it for a couple years
Because that "random someone" doesn't have to contest with budget, company plans, revenue, content drought, the community... and they can literally spend as much time as they want/need to get it working, sometimes literal years for a single "content drop".

Mods in every game are always fixing what the company are too lazy or too incompetent to fix. Look at Skyrim. The modders are literally making expansion/DLC-sized games with the modding tools, adding new continents and maps w/ voice acting and what not. It's crazy.
Having to pay for a gym, definitely would make a rags to riches more interesting. That way if you wanted to use the facilities to have a hot shower, you would just have to pay. It also adds realism considering that most gyms you have to have a membership to go to.

I really like the idea of just clicking on the shell of a building and my sim interacting with it as a rabbithole. I honestly think that if the sims had implemented this, the game would be able to keep my interest for longer periods of time (instead of me just picking up the game once every couple of months for like 20 hours and then calling it quits, lol). OMFG! I didn't know this mod existed! It's like everything I complained the SIMS lacked for the past 15 years was just brought to life via a MOD?!?!!! I can't even watch the whole video! I have to RUN go get that mod right now!! Uh oh, he says you've got to have the starwars EP in order for the planes to work, lol, I hadn't bought that one because I thought it was a totally useless world and had no desire to own it. (the only one I don't own.) But that's all going to change, I will buy it now just so my mod world planes work. EA really ought to put some of these modders on their payroll. This modder 'Arnie' gets 100% of the credit to get me to purchase Batuu.

Okay so hear this idea for a challenge out. A family moves in to one of lilsimsie's favourite Blue-suburban home but they want to update it because they HATE those kinds of homes. I think it will be entertaining to watch her demolish her home to change it to a modern house with no money limits.

Really depends on your budget, and if you're trying to get a desktop or a gaming laptop tbh. A pre-built Desktop with a Ryzen 5, and a 20series or 30series gpu will fulfill all your needs.

I never played Sims 3 on pc, but I forced my brother to buy it for me on the ps3, and I liked how they handle the world. They had it load every lot in a neighborhood rather than the entire world, but that's better than what the Sims 4 does. I remember being really disappointed when I got Sims 4 and wasn't able to visit my neighbors without a loading screen.

i've given the sims 4 a chance for almost 7 years and now i can confidently say that I MISS OPEN WORLDS!!!!

I really like the idea of just clicking on the shell of a building and my sim interacting with it as a rabbithole. I honestly think that if the sims had implemented this, the game would be able to keep my interest for longer periods of time (instead of me just picking up the game once every couple of months for like 20 hours and then calling it quits, lol). You can download it for free I downloaded sims 4 with everything you have to pay for there are so many tutorials on UA-cam

OMFG! I didn't know this mod existed! It's like everything I complained the SIMS lacked for the past 15 years was just brought to life via a MOD?!?!!! I can't even watch the whole video! I have to RUN go get that mod right now!! Uh oh, he says you've got to have the starwars EP in order for the planes to work, lol, I hadn't bought that one because I thought it was a totally useless world and had no desire to own it. (the only one I don't own.) But that's all going to change, I will buy it now just so my mod world planes work. EA really ought to put some of these modders on their payroll. This modder 'Arnie' gets 100% of the credit to get me to purchase Batuu.

There's no loading screens in the city, that's the only open world place, in every other place there are loading screens

Okay so hear this idea for a challenge out. A family moves in to one of lilsimsie's favourite Blue-suburban home but they want to update it because they HATE those kinds of homes. I think it will be entertaining to watch her demolish her home to change it to a modern house with no money limits.

Really depends on your budget, and if you're trying to get a desktop or a gaming laptop tbh.
A pre-built Desktop with a Ryzen 5, and a 20series or 30series gpu will fulfill all your needs.

I never played Sims 3 on pc, but I forced my brother to buy it for me on the ps3, and I liked how they handle the world. They had it load every lot in a neighborhood rather than the entire world, but that's better than what the Sims 4 does. I remember being really disappointed when I got Sims 4 and wasn't able to visit my neighbors without a loading screen.
