It's under construction and me and my husband thought we could DIY it, but then we ran out of funds when the twins started preschool and it hasn't changed since then. Please help us Property Brothers!" The episode theme is the brothers being like "You guys have spent so much on your kids, it time you get something YOU want." So they update the kitchen, bathroom, and dining room to something they call "Fall Farmhouse" (because there is ALWAYS a little theme they give the style lol) and they have a cute moment where Drew and Jonothan carve pumpkins with the kids while asking what they think the parents need. Their reactions to the reveal would go like "Oh. My. Gosh! We have spent all our money on our kid's needs, and what you guys have done for us... *tears up* is just so perfect. How does a simmer literally make a challenge look so easy ! You actually made this work + it felt like in the end just a regular build, you set the whole setting with the same season as in the game. That's crazy - gorgeous house too !
I would actually like a room that is kept empty IRL. An empty room is so calming to me and I would bring in essentials of whatever I'm doing, and then take them away after.
Random Number Generator Challenge: randomise the wall-pieces you are allowed to use! eg: randomise between maybe 50 and 200 and you have to use the excact amount off wall pieces for the downstairs (same for upstairs) - maybe you have to do a open floorplan or a very closed up one
If you do this again, I think you should build the house and then use the budget just for furnishings and wallpaper and floors so you don’t have to worry about walls! Plumbella did it that way and I think it worked better

On the room that was 700 something simoleons, you could have not placed walls to one of the sides, and hoped the next room had enough to build them. Or that room could be a spare room and forget the toddler room, make that the parent's room. And why do people always forget about the base game lockers and Spa Day wardrobes? The Spa Day wardrobes look nice and are cheaper than regular dressers.
confession: i despise that brown and blue rug kayla uses in like every build. i wouldn't hate it as much if the flooring wasn't also brown, but she almost always uses it with brown flooring. it's the one thing i always change if i download one of her builds and it was used 😔
