This channel proves that you can make nearly ANY set sound good in the studio with good tuning and recording.
A new window to Italian drum industry, cool!
Competitive workmanship and sound also.
DS is a new brand to me. Glad to watch this review. Thanks Drummer's Review
That aluminum snare completely fits to the character of the drum.
That kit sounds incredible.
The guy playing them is pretty damn good too. Great feel.
Thank you man!
Fantastic!!! I love the look and the sound! Thanks and Blessings!!!
I’ve been in love with DS since your first review and have spent hours in their creator. Wonderful instruments that i hope to see more reviews for in the future, especially something from the maple lines.
I don't know what I like more: the old-school sound or that finish, it's not half bad..
Finally a 14x6" aluminium snare without all that heavy hardware and hoops like on the starphonic I had.
Please review more Ds snares...I would like to listen to the 6,5 walnit and mahogany.
DS makes great drums !
Beautiful and classic
I think that kit looks great.
WHOAAAAAAA
Great review with fluid playing. The drum set is very pretty and sounds really....................................... I just don't know because your micing, tuning and balance is so good I just can't tell. Maybe I should listen through headphones but your narrative tells me all that I need to know.
The kit appears to be well made and really good value, so what's not to like?
Thank you Drummer's Review and looking forward to the next one.
Fabulous kit
Nice everything works together
Italians do it Better 8). That's a beautiful kit made with Gabon/s Mahogany, it has all the character you would aspect from that essence, warm fatty sound that goes low. As all mahogany kits it has some important overtones, but they are nice to hear. I made a match with my CVL 100% mahogany kit (another italian drum builder) and both sounds great.
Italian DS or LA Qdrums (in the back); some inspiring gear for sure.
Sound good.
Could you guys review the Ludwig black magic snare and maybe compare it to a black beauty??
what mike do you using on toms?
Wait. ...Nolly is in Periphery???? Didn't see that one coming. Lol
this drummer is a percussionist of classical music ?
But its not a duco...it's a trico?
Duco was a brand of paint, made by DUpont COrporation. The same finish, done with Sherwin Williams or PPG paint, would just be called two-tone.....I'm not trying to be snarky, but I've long wondered how the mistaken usage started, much like a box of tissues is usually called Kleenex....But then, my dad used to call toilet paper "hockey tickets.'' I haven't figured that out either. Carry On!
I hate those lugs
Easter eggs. DW would be proud
