Wish I could afford it great deal . I would live on it myself . Beautiful . Thank you for sharing & thanks Walter it’s great to see . & in my opinion you are giving it away . Not many out in the world today that are like you .
I wonder if he bought the boat before Hurricane Ian or after and did it have much damage if he had it there at that time. On the top 10 houseboats List I have seen
$500 k for a boat slip that looks like it’s a mile from the end of runway 05/23 at Naples airport. Check Google maps. How many flights per day? And congested …condo balconies etc. not a lot of privacy while you’re sitting out getting some sun. Plus, where are the restaurants and tiki bars? I’ve tied up in marinas up and down the ICW where the bars and music entertainments stay noisy pretty late. If that’s your vibe, go for it. But I’m guessing that prospective buyers for a boat like this are gonna be 60+ and looking for a quiet restful experience.
Beautiful Boat and a really great slip. What do you do when the storms hit? You'd have to get inland quickly if you have enough notice, its possible to weather the storms as he has. The rental part of it would be a little tough with the economy until Pres. Trump gets sworn in in Jan. I think $650,000. would be more appropriate though. Good luck to Mr. Walker on the sale, I believe it will go to someone with a little bread. Great video.
I can imagine the insurance that it would cost. That's if you can even get insurance anymore down there. I'm sure it would probably be about 12,000 a year.
Too much for the boat. 500K for the slip is apparently normal Maybe 550K BUT those Harbor Master 520's go for 120K up to 200k in top surveyed condition It's not hard to find things wrong with a boat, covered up with lipstick and mascara. Especially those keep in the water at a marina
@@HarborYachtTours Until the marina bans it, as many places are starting to do , and more regulations are coming such as permits and licensing. Either way the slip may worth around 500kk but the boat is only as good as survey and market value. Ever hear of marina electrolysis? Very common in boats left in the water at marinas for long periods of time.
@@GoofieNewfie69 I Know I use to do dive work. Def would have to be locked in with the current slip set up because your right not many left like it which is what makes this one so valuable assuming its permanently grandfathered in. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@BillyBobDingledorf People think that because their boat is pretty, it's worth top dollar. then they pull it out, have it inspected, $$$$ in repairs. Great if you can do the work yourself, but you also have to add the haulout and yard time. It's easy to hide rot, metal electrolysis and fiberglass osmosis under a nice paint/gelcoat job. I can't remember the channel, but they got a very pretty boat, skipped the survey, ended up spending two years in the yard and may dollars in repair. The stringers were completely rotted out. had to gut the boat and replace a lot of things.

Did this boat make it through the hurricane and is it still available?
I know this boat well. I had the pleasure of staying there a few times and we always had a great time! Great memories, thanks to Walker!
Thanks for commenting so glad he gave me a chance to make this video.
A 1990 boat decorated to 1984. Has a vcr? Nice.
When I saw the first shot I knew it was the Cove Inn. I've stayed there many times. Great little marina and nice Tiki bar.
And location location

It's a nice boat but ¾ million seems a bit steep...
I wouldn’t let my boat sit Charlotte Harbor is known for sea worms That’s just a little north They play havoc with a nice boat that sits Just saying

You might be right about the noise. There are restaurants within walking distance all around it’s the best location as far as that goes.
Incredible, thank you,
Thank you too!

Well that will cancel out the air bandb income with maintenance
wow
How deep is the water where the boat is?
not sure but the marina had some good size boats in there
75K lake houseboat for $750k.. beyond ridiculous

It does seem like the owner is overvaluing his craft. I've seen that a lot with homes that are for sale by owner too.

how much for the unit!
I think he's at $775k
A used lake boat floating at a slip for 700,000 plus ....What a joke
Comes with the water though and the business
Thats a bargain
I know it’s a good business he has.
775,000🫠🤨 that's crazy
