- This week I share How I lost 6.5 lbs in 2 weeks with Slimming World update! Plus my top products of the week to help your journey.
I did weigh 26.7 stone then I weighed 14 stone and 11 lbs, I am now i'm back on my journey back to 14 stone.
I did lose over 11.5 stone with some help from Slimming World, this channel is here to help every man and woman who want to lose weight and eat great food.

Good to see you getting back on track. Similar to the flavouring you mentioned, I discovered FlavDrops by MyProtein around a year ago. They do an incredible range - including mango - for a similar price. (No I'm not sponsored by them). As well as flavour, they seem to sweeten and I used them to create SW friendly yogurts, ice creams and sweet omelettes.

I lost a stone and a half with slimming world but then booked 5 weeks holiday as my son was off for summer... First weigh in back tomorrow!

Well done on your weight loss this week Patrick! I've picked up a good tip this week about drinking water and getting your daily water amount in. It recommends taking 10 gulps of water every time you have a drink of water to up your in take to help achieve your daily amount.
I've been reading a little bit about protein and getting more fibre in your eating plan to keep you feeling fuller for longer..! I've also been hearing a lot of talk about eating in "a calorie deficit" recently too..! One of the things I like best about Slimming World is not having to track calories and at my lightest I lost 5 stone without counting a single calorie! 😀

Well done Patrick! I’ll be joining again after my holiday ends next week. It’s interesting that you’re calorie counting as well. The unlimited pasta and potatoes is great if you stick to the SW plan 100% but otherwise it can get you into trouble. This time I’m planning to up my protein as well. Looking forward to more videos from you! xx

I've tried them but years ago. They are OK, I just remembered watery and not very flavoursome

I lost over a stone this last 2 weeks, wouldn’t recommend it though, I lost my Mother and whilst I stayed with her in hospital for 8 nights/9 days I never ate grief has kick started my diet though I’m doing it for her xxx

Hi Patrick ur doing well & seem in good spirits. When speaking about free foods its always rice pasta & potatoes that get a bad wrap its also the tons of fruit & unlimited meats a lot of which are very processed where cals can add up. How lamb & pork shoulder can be free is beyond me all visable fat removed or not. Healthy fats are also fuller for longer too. In fact its fats & fibre that dont spike insulin levels which is great for weight loss. SW need to glow up & move with the times it's so outdated with all the low fat stuff no one really enjoys. I'm gonna ask why measured portions of full fat greek yogurts & cottage cheese are not part of the general hex a's when full fat milk & cheeses are. Cant see why avocados aren't part of healthy extras either. The plan could be so much better but the cynic in me thinks it's designed in a way to have constant rejoiners🤔🤭😏. I see a few are going to SW & counting cals - knowledge is power💪🏾🙌🏾👏🏽
Thanks for the comment. I know what you mean, some things just dont make sense. It's weird and more people than not have lost weight but put it back on

This is awkward as I think you haven't mentioned speed? Which is why the free food can be unlimited. With 53 years of experience it may not have been explained fully that may be why you are pushing towards going limiting your free food.
Hey Frankie, thanks for the messenge, great that you took the time. I completely agree that if you have a lot of speed food on your plate then that will fill you so you won't eat as much pasta etc... the problem is not everyone does it. If SW changed their plan and said that pasta etc can be unlimited as long as you have the same amount of speed food, that would help. As people sometimes just thing "rice is free, I'll just have a curry etc with loads of rice and it's fine as it's free.
@@WeighIntime as I understand it the reason we only have one portion control as 1/3 speed free food is because we don't want members to go into Rebel mode. There needs to be the focus on speed and most consultants should be focusing on that. Even looking at your food diary or your taste the difference vegetables list "more speed you choose the more weight you lose". Would love to know what you think we could do to emphasise this to members?
