Well done! This was hard to do.... I know from experience what you are talking about. I lost 6 stones many years ago after being obese all my life previously. After I lost the weight I became a very different person living a different type of life. I wore clothes I would never have dared to before I did things... Activities I d never done previously. I felt people respected me more. I was more confident. It was great... But I anchored after getting even slimmer... I did not succeed. Instead I gave up! Gained all the weight back and more and saw myself as a failure. Full of self LOATHING. etc etc. I am now on my new weight loss journey and this time like you I plan to enjoy the ride and appreciate my wt loss however small some weeks whilst moving towards my goal. I wish you well and thank you for your honesty. X

I’m in a similar situation where I lost over 3 stone back in 2018, illness and a broken ankle stopped me in my tracks and I pretty much put it all back on in the last 15 months. I’ve rejoined SlimmingWorld online and am 2 weeks into my new journey. Looking forward to a more positive second half to 2021 for all of us

I relate to this so much. I lost over 10 stone and now I’ve gained more than half back. When I was at my lightest weight I still wanted to lose more, despite being a size 12. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and all I want now is to get back to that size/weight again. Good luck with your journey, we can do this! 💪🏻
I can relate to your situation. I lost over 8 stone about 10 years ago. I realise that I "bounced" - ie, hit "target" and from that point onwards put weight on again. I am now on another weightloss journey. I wish there was as much support to maintain a healthy weight and life style rather than all the focus on weightloss. I feel more prepared this time. to maintain once I again reach my "target". Good luck.
I'm exactly the same I was a target then I lost control and have gained 3 stone back over 2 years with these tough times (no excuse really). I tried the calorie counting and I was skipping on meals to eat junk so decided to go back to slimming world last week and lost 7lb my first week. We will get back to our happy place 👊💪 Good luck on your journey and will be watching and great to see you back x

Patrick, it’s so great that you’re back. I can really identify with this. After a 14 kg weight loss with 2.5 kg until target I just got into a really bad headspace and couldn’t find the motivation. It almost feels like I need to sort my head out before I can get properly back on plan. You’re right though, I need to be grateful for the weight I have lost. And, let’s face it, we’ve all been through a hell of a lot in the last year and a half! Let’s be kind to ourselves ❤️ and give ourselves a pat on the back for coming this far. I too am grateful for my journey since 2017 & reaching my inital 5stone target in lockdown May 2020!! I just about have kept off this 5 stone and rejoiced most days for my total loss as im so grateful for my found self. I realised too only recently that the reason i haven’t gone to my desired 6 stone new target is because ive been soo comfortable in size 10/12 clothing. I also came to the insight recently like you dear that i have to be uncomfortable to change ...so after England footy final tonight and Wimbledon’s tennis finals over. I will reach my goal and enjoy seeing more fam and friends after 3 lockdowns 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

I'm glad to see you back, I fully understand what you mean I'm back at slimming world after losing 9st in 2018 but over time the weight came back and I noticed that would have to start all over again so in May I rejoined slimming world and up to now I've lost 2.5st. I'm not has fully committed than I was the first time and on the odd days I may have a pizza or fish n chip supper I need to stop this has im only cheating on myself
