Yeah. SMT music absolutely peaked with the PS2 age (back when Shoji Meguro worked on stuff not named Persona), but even before then, it already had some absolute bangers.

Now that I've played Legends: Arceus, I want to see three themes- those being the Space-Time Distortion theme, the Noble Pokemon theme, or the Origin Sinnoh (Palkia/Dialga) theme. And I'd still love to see Final Battle, Reconciliation, Euthanasia Rollercoaster, or Tinnitus Dance from Everhood. All these songs are amazing- though Legends: Arceus def might get more attention!

This theme perfectly encapsulates the chaotic, awesome nature of SMT. You could play this over any SMT battle at all, and it would still be the perfect batle theme, even when playing SMT5

As far as classic MegaTen battle tracks go, I gotta say Deathmatch (Megami Tensei 2) is the best random encounter theme. Old Enemy is a bit of a fan favorite though, so I at least expect to hear that from you in this lifetime, Jonny. Just sometime before we grow old will be fine.
