For our first Medley Song Madness event, I presented you all with options from a few medleys to pick the song(s) you wanted to hear a full version of the most this month. The GaMetal Patreon form had 2 additional options, one of those being for a song from any of the past NES Medleys.
This song won that vote.
I based this arrangement off both the original and the Megami Tensei I & II Fusion Disc version, which adds a lot of cool new stuff, but I took the key back down to the original.

Getting footage for this one was a real treat! Old Megami Tensei games hold up SHOCKINGLY well. If any of you have an interest in this series from its more modern titles, grab a guide and throw this one on and I think you’ll be surprised!
That said, I can’t believe this song won. Initially it was a joke and then it started actually gaining traction and then… well here we are lol. All the new solos and additions from the Fusion Disc arrangement are all awesome too! Always happy to hear Megaten stuff on the channel, hope we get more.

Love the high energy on this one, and the part where you slow down is literally a perfect build up towards the end. Somehow, may madness never disappoints, even with almost every theme coming from very old games, yet another proof of how much effort and care is put behind this art

Everything from the composition of the cover from the perceived notes and you performance on screen is just so high in energy. Even more than usual ! Goes super well with how metal/speed rock the OST's for Megaten games are.
