I like how Gehenna has a totally different vibe from all of their other songs. It's just so alluring and beautifully put together. That's why this song will always be my favorite.

I remember when it was the latest album they had out, crazy how time flies and the music ages perfectly.
Such a sweet and tasty solo by Jim Root. To me, this is one of their best written songs, even though everything they put out is amazing. I personally think All Hope Is Gone was one of the overlooked Slipknot albums.

One of slipknots best songs with their greatest solo. I wish they would play it live. I wouldn't care if it was just once but as long as they did it some place like Knotfest or something like that I would be happy. It's just such a great song. Paul's amazing verse bassline, Corey's dark but melodic vocals and above all, Jim's astounding solo. It would be a treat for every slipknot fan

One of my favorite slipknot songs for sure.. Still don't understand why this album gets so much hate... It's a good album and better than The gray chapter for me. That being said, Corey's voice on AHIG sounds close to Iowa.. Wish corey used this voice technique again.

To me Slipknot isnt just Nu Metal. Its a mix with a lot of metal subgenres. They are Deathmetal,Groove Metal,Nu Metal,Experimental Metal and Doom Metal all combined. its just my opinion. you can say what ever you want. this is just how i hear the music.

When I saw slipknot back in 2009 I heard people in line saying they just got into slipknot.... I saw them once more in 2012. Saw them 6 times in total since 2004. Really wish I got to see them when Corey had his dreads like his first 2 masks.. I really enjoy this track though. :)

All hope is gone times.... everything was Allright, the band was still with Joey and Paul... everything seemed to be okay.... we didn't knew it was the end of a magic era. The fifth album is Allright and I like it, but is not like the previous ones

Almost 5 years ago, I broke up with my fiance and moved a whole state away (long story, bad relationship and situation) Thats when I rediscovered this album, and it helped me get through the pain of the break up. "Free my severed heart, give me you" That really spoke to me in a way like I needed to be freed from the ties to our relationship we once had. Amazing song. top 3 on the album.
In my opinion, this is one of their best songs. The songwriting is amazing.
