Absolutely loved this video! The knowledge you shared are valuable across various industries beyong Accounting. As a cybersecurity enthusiast, I also appreciate your emphasis on protecting your customer's data. It's best to enable MFA on the application that provides access to Chat GPT for added security.
This is great. Will share this in our upcoming newsletter. It's time for us accountants to go an offense :) We are the cool guys and leading the pack when it comes to adopting...
GREAT and valuable content! For the GPT teams use case around 11:50 - I would presume you can’t search websites like IRS’ given privacy / permission controls? Only websites like Twitter, Instagram, etc - correct?
Generally anything available via a public URL will be searchable! If you check out this conversation I just did chat.openai.com/share/e/67599867-b328-4f61-ade1-f3b8f66bc8d7 By saying "only look at results from irs.gov" it added to the bing search "site:irs.gov" so it only pulled things from there The only places I've bumped into limitations have been with paywalled sites, as you may imagine
Due diligence will generally look the same as your process for any other cloud app but here's the most up to date comparison of the various ChatGPT plans www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7153798628631871488 And a guide for how to develop your own AI use policy ua-cam.com/video/gxTH7_iUcpk/v-deo.htmlsi=GsKF5Zn_lkfQO1KV
Data Analyst could not read any of the documents. I tried xlsx, csv and pdf formats and it kept saying the data was all zeroes. I tried a 12-month (by month), Q4 by month and just a single month. None of it could be read. There has to be something else I am missing.
Yeah this has been 50/50 for me - when it first launched it worked great, then I couldn't get it to read any files, now it'll sometimes take a couple regens I've had the best luck with PDFs and CSVs
So much of my knowledge is in emails that I’ve sent to clients. I want to use an internal GPT to mine that knowledge but Im worried about privacy. I’n a google-based firm and Bard sounds perfect for querying my emails, but it says right there when you sign up that they are going to read your stuff so I had to back out….😢 So maybe GPT Teams will be an option but how to get all of my sent emails in there? - ugh. anyway, thanks for the info!
Thought: UA-cam should introduce a function where content creators can crowdfund directly on the platform eg like a patreon for channel investors. I would invest in Jason. This channel is going to blow up in a good way 🫶🏽💪🏽. Anyway thanks for the insight.
I had a nice laugh when you rolled the Final Fantasy victory music in this. (Congrats, Jason, on being as much of a geek as me, I suppose.)
I work with a small accounting firm in Toronto Ontario, I build a Payroll Administrator out of custom GPT.
Nice! What sort of stuff does it do for you?

@@jasoncpaI think I figured it out. Had to remove the header and footer data and it worked.

This is what I want to learn in college.
You're so getting a cease-and-desist letter from Intuit for creating Craig AI without asking for its consent :)

You stop that 👆👉👆👉
Could be very useful for Audits! Especially the incredibly dull bits... 😴🥸
