Hi Jason, I am starting my CPA firm soon and I am working on getting things ready, websites, marketing etc. I have a question regarding Networking Events. When do you think the best time to attend events? Do I wait until I build up the firm or does not matter if I attend regardless? Also, how can I reach you for additional questions if you don't mind? How does InCite get accountants to take the time to answer others' questions? Do they have experts working for them? I see why someone would be incentivized to join if they have a question they need answered, but unsure why they would stick around after that. I don't see much info on their website.

@kevin77217 We've developed a similar AI solution for a client, where they upload invoices to Google Drive. Our fully automated ChatGPT-based system then extracts the invoice data and converts it into Excel-based journal entries, applying their chart of accounts. Thanks for posting this video Jason. This really spoke to me this afternoon when I watched it. I obtained my CPA in Dec of 2023 and I am in the process of launching Roch Accounting Services, LLC down here in the Houston, TX area. I am not planning on leaving my current job (great benefits, pay, boss, and pension), but I am planning on making the accounting firm my side business. Everyone that I have been talking to has been encouraging me in the journey, which helps out a ton. Would love to connect with anyone down here in Houston, TX.

Pricing on websites seems like something that you are 'damned if you do, damned if you don't. How about a form "enquire about pricing" where you collect some data on nature of business, size & all that & email back with a price? Which tier would you place that in?

Awesome video! I just added the example pricing to my website. Question - What's the best way to provide a proposal? Most firms, mine included, send it post-meeting; but sales pros say that they most successful way to seal the deal is to lock someone in while on the call. My acceptance rating is only around 10% right now, so figuring this out would probably be the most impactful thing on my end.

Useless UA-camr

AI is soooo overrated right now. People are treating LLMs like it's a general artificial intelligence, which isn't even close to true. It doesn't understand anything it's actually saying, so if it gets down an incorrect path or starts hallucinating, you end up with unreliable garbage. And while the data is unreliable often enough to require being checked by an expert, then it isn't a replacement for said expert. Current AI models are amazing as assistants to professional accountants. I use them regularly to help summarize long email chains, draft emails and other documents, and error check complex Excel formulas. It's even allowed me to write simple VBA scripts for automating emails when I have zero knowledge of programming. It's a wonderful tool for an accountant's kit, but sure as hell not a replacement.

You are literally a saving grace for me right now. I own a tax firm and I gotta say it's been a pain trying to get clients. Plus I've been scared of using social media because I feel like I wouldn't get anywhere. But you opened my eyes here. You're a saint

It's just unfortunate that this is a sponsored video, rather than an actual unbiased review video. That means we know he's not telling us what things he noticed it does badly, what it lacks, or what other competitors we should also consider using. And him having been sponsored by this company will have at least some influence on what he says about this product and its other AI competitors too in the future, even if it's just a subconscious bias, and well, that sucks. Yes, channels need sponsors to fund good content, and he probably wouldn't take sponsors with products he doesn't believe in. But still, just kind of unfortunate for us viewers when it's a product in a category where it would be so much more valuable to see genuine, unpaid evaluations.

I'm currently seeking the perfect opportunity that aligns with my goals and aspirations. Despite having a solid background in accounting, I haven't yet found a role that truly excites me. It often feels like managers expect us to operate like machines, simply following instructions without room for growth or creativity. I am eager to find a role where I can learn new skills and continue to develop professionally. I hold both a bachelor's and a master's degree in accounting and, although I haven't pursued a CPA yet, I plan to work towards it this year. I would be very interested in any remote accounting positions you may have that offer opportunities for skill development and professional growth.

looking at the charts- sadly - only 4 out of 15 you looked at had a mobile app... I guess one can't be as mobile with those choices,,, I find myself in situations sometimes that I have to respond to a client and if I can get at info. on my phone by logging into my Practice management mobile app then, that's one less thing I have to worry about... That narrows it down for me... Thanks Jason
