Hi, the gas canister will slow down when cold, regardless of brand in my experience. The hack is to have the canister stored inside the van, not on the outside when cold. Another tip from another channel, you can buy a torch that can attach to the top of the canister. Empty canisters still have a bit left, so with the torch fitting you can use it to start your camp fire...
G’day Vaughan! Came across your video in my research for camp stoves and thought I know this bloke! From Corollas to campers mate! Haha This is such a great video, very informative. Love the detail you’ve gone into and that Facebook page is a great find! Been using just an open burner butane cooker for a while with a wind guard but only just really discovered these enclosed pan style ones. I love the way they have more wind protection being a more inclosed unit and also no need to bring a frypan along. Was concerned about the lack of option for boiling water but picked up a fire maple Polaris for that. Thanks again man, gained a subscriber!
Well constructed informative video as always. I've just got to learn how to cook!! 🤣 Thanks Vaughan for these videos.....looking forward to the next one!!
Hi mate, firstly much appreciated for all your videos. They’ve been super helpful! I’ve unfortunately scratched/dented the buffet bench top in my Jayco swan from dropping the back of a hammer on the bench. Have you done any repairs or have recommendations when it comes to repairing the bench in a Jayco swan? Cheers

You are so good with the info you provide
We also go to hat head every Christmas for at least 30 years now.
Had a jayco dove. Have upgraded to a Franklin 20.6 van now.
Thank you Vaughan, you showed me what I was wondering about and more.
Thanks for great video. It’s taken me 3 hrs to view as checking on some of the products as I watched. Now subscribed.
