"uh what time is it?"
"you'll see in a sec the bell tower is about to ring"
*2 minutes later*
"this doesn't help"
You can't tell if it is about to ring if you don't know the time.
@@simonair You can. They play a short intro to tell people that they are about to tell the time.
@@Glisern r/woooosh
"It seems to be 497 o'clock, then..." :-D
(Yes, I counted all the notes in the sheet music.)
it rings to let you know when wintergaten uploads
And if you hit the wrong tone.... the whole City can hear...
Carl Vogt Atleast they won't see you
SirLovesALott But they know who plays because she is only the one assigned for playing it😂
Yeah I was just thinking...how the hell would you PRACTICE this thing??
Most people won't tell the difference
@@alexhauptmann298 There are bells in the master frame. There's probably a way to disconnect it from the actual bells and do a dry run.
I wonder how many people walking by thought, 'Hang on a minute...!' :D
Ralph111417 i was in the tower when she played the song end I med Martin there
I was born and raised near there, i was in the city when it played. I didnt know the song until like a week ago, i only learned it was this song that was playing sometime today.
The ironic juxtaposition of using a super modern device (the iPad) to display the music while playing a centuries old instrument...
The question still lies...
Did she ever play Star Wars?
We need to know!
She did! On 14-12-2016 it was for the première of Rogue One playing in the (then) new Kinepolis cinema. /watch?v=8NeBS8JXnFI
Thank you!
No ×
The answer is yes (look it up, it's on youtube)
Person: what kind of instrument do you play?
Me: bells.
She would be a tough competitor in "wack a mole"game sounds awesome
Comment of the day ★
Friend: what time is it
Me: just listen for the bell!
Friend: soo ... a million o'clock?
I would be so afraid to hit a wrong note O.o
I just can't stand how amazing this sounds! Wish there was a version with only the outside sound, not the sounds of the pads.
Me too!
Personally i can find pads as a fine percussion. And, you know, it has some charm in it, and it's unusual and kinda unique.
Pads are good.
Lady vor Edocsil
H
I think that the sounds of the pads gives the song that machine feel and adds a bit more character.
It feels true to the marble machine with all the clanking and it adds to the original charm of the video plus
*ITS A GOD DAMN TOWER SHE'S PLAYING!!!*
This is one of the most beautiful performances of the Marble Machine Song, it almost like this song was meant for the Dom Toren Carillion. I tear up every time I hear it.
Me too
Same
Lik dis if u cri evrytiem
How do you practice an instrument like this without the whole town listening?
GuitarByChance disable the bells
Lusty Glaceon, well, not exactly
Since it's similar to a piano I would imagine that if you could play piano, you could definitely play a Carillion give or take a few mechanics being changed considering that playing a piano and clock tower bells is quite the drastic difference.
GuitarByChance she has a similar machine at her home
There are simulators, but an important technical skill is the handling substantial latency and inertia in ringing the heavier bells. That part has to be practiced live. No pressure :D
So much yes! This should be played annually on the birthday of when the marble machine was uploaded
It's almost magical! It feels like this was the way the song was mented to be played all along :')
If this was in my town i would cry each time i hear it right in the middle of the street
One of my life's goals now is to visit this belltower and hear it play Oracion from Pokemon. I think I could die a happy man if that ever happened. ^.^
this must have been an amazing thing to have happened, to hear your song this way.
This woman is a legend she inspires me the most.
I just love the sound of the keyboard. It gives the note a little extra effect with the thud of the keys.
My favorite! Malgosia rocks!
Another thought: Malgosia is playing bells cast in the 17th century while reading sheet music displayed on a 21st century electronic tablet.
I always get a tear (happy tear and big smile) in my eyes when listening to this one. It is so beautiful...
Anders Jackson me too 😢
This is my favourite cover of the world
This is one of the coolest performances I've ever seen. Wish I could see it in person! What talent, playing such a unique instrument!
Just unbelivable. Just imagine you create a great Song and itl be played, that a hole town can hear it. wow
I wish I was there to hear this uge Carillion play the Marble Machine Song!
That was amazing, I loved the episode and the song in its entirety is SO AWESOME.
This has to be my favorite!!!!
Thank you so much for a "solo" video for this version.. :P
But we still need streets only and next to player only versions, i cant wait for those
I have a feeling you cannot have skipped arm day to play such an amazing instrument.
Sounds so freaking beautiful
I would like to try playing a carillon. Except for the fact that a WHOLE CITY would hear it.
Midi carillons exist
Try a Maas-Rowe. Those are electric
She ROCKS!!!
This one is by far my favorite. I love the bells!
Why is this my favorite piece? It brings out a lot of emotions, but it’s also joyful.
This is literally amazing!
That is sooo cool!
I already don't like when my mom listens to me playing, I think I couldn't play for a whole town lol
Trully beautiful.
Incredible! Just mind-blowing! Wish I was there on the farthest part of towns hillside, listening and really get a depth to it. 5/5 from me man. Keep it up!
Wow ! I want to hear that when I go to that city !
beautiful
I fell in love with the song♡
This really sinks into my soul. I like this composition. Very nicr
I legit cried.
Amazing
Thank you
Beautifully done. The operater has much skill.
Man this is AMAZING HOLY
The National anthem of peace.
That sounds amazing on that carillon.
Man I really wish I were there to experience this myself
Mind blown... :D
This is so goddamn good
EPIC!!!
This must be the largest structure this was ever played on. But...can you go larger?
sky is the limits
Live Gaming Qc Moon is
Big ben tower
Nozumi Hishimatchi, it’s not an instrument
Vamanos Bumblebesam a bell is an instrument
just one word and thats WOW
I get goosebumbs when watching and listening to this, whish I had been there when she played it, bet it was even more epic in real life. :D
wow impresionante
This Chanel is defiantly worth subbing to
Was Martin in the tower, or on the street? Or did she play it twice?
I think she played it twice or more. But the real question is, did she have to wait another hour before playing it again?
The world may never know
I think he had a cameraman or friend in the street that recorded it as it was happening
Z Perm definitely 2 sets of microphones. But only 1 camera (who says audio is synced with video for the outside shots?) You must remember audio & video are usually recorded on separate devices ( built in cam mics usually sound atrocious, their audio is only used for syncing)
CrazyAceking if you watch his first video on it, he was definitely in the street while it was playing
I live here. WHERE WAS I?
Your city looks beautiful
I will give what I don't have yet to be there and listen to that song played live from the clock tower. Amazing. Thanks!
This one is my favorite c:
Is there a full version from the outside? If there is, I'd really like to listen to it!
Wow she's good!
Holy shit!
Sending in a request to have this played on the ISU carillon next week 😁
Wow
This makes me proud to be human.
生で聞きたかった!
the ammo7nt of talent it must take just to play that
Shes basically PUNCHING the keys XD
I Will copy this
Utrecht :D :D
😯This must be the largest musical instrument ever made surely??
Cue in the Great Stalacpipe Organ, in Luray Caverns, VA. The organ uses stalactites and stalagmites as bells. The entire structure covers 3.5 acres: almost 3 football fields, all underground!
I've had the privilege of hearing it (the organ) in person: it's very surreal, and everyone in my party was silent for the entire time. Luray Caverns has some of the best ambiance in the world.
WIN
It has to be one of the largest istruments in the world!!!! 😃

😯
Dios la escucho
Sounds a lot more melodramatic than the original.
Wow cool
10 hours later...
How long has it OH MY GOD
Now to find a way to do this with Elizabeth Tower (or Big Ben as most people know it by)
In a couple years maybe, when the bell's repairs are done.
Big Ben is the bell, not the tower.
People that want to sleep : should i skip this song 🥲
THE FINAL BOSS THEME TO END ALL BOSS THEMES....
Marble Machine -- Carillon Bell Tower
Hey! Are you happy that your song is now played to the entire city? Bcause I am!!!
WRONG NOTE : cam man : OH NO WHOLE CITY: whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAa????????!!
When I liked the video it was 6.9k likes and I made it 7k likes
will someone please step in and build her a keyboard to hit those bells?
u got 2k likes and 16 dislikes.
good job
uh what time is it
who plays bell piano in clock tower domtoren.
2 minutes later
not as this mm song
The real question is: is there a version that is pnly filmed from the street ? And how can i get it ?
0:07 0:27
The most amazing things in here
And get 1.7k likes and the 11dislike is from Terrorist who heard this song
Tuning it must be a pain
Do you have sheet music for this carillon arrangement??
It's the same as the piano arrangement: she was reading off of a Google search result for "marble machine song piano arrangement."
Easy
I'd like to see YOU play it. Oh wait. You don't live in Utrecht. And you're nine years old.
You are from Netherlands?
Impressive, but can you... oh God wrong channel
now play Wonderwall, or Feel Good Inc.
I see in this video about the carillon glockenspiel the keyboard for the hands has 24 "white" upper keys and 17 "black" lower keys that are toghether 41different bells so almost 44 tones four octaves, 9 bells are played with the feet, because the carillon bells play consists of 50 Bells. Martin, why does your marble machine only consist of one octave of 11 different tones and not of four octaves of 44 different tones like the carillon in the Utrecht Cathedral, I don't understand.
in the bell tower are 14 freely swinging bells and the carillon are 50 immovable fixed bells toghether are 64 bells in the bell tower from the Utrecht Cathedral, also tell me why are in your marblemaschine X only 11 tones and not 44 tones, I don't get it ...
