    My Dad was a Captain Pilot for Eastern Airlines out of Atlanta. My Mom was an accountant for Delta Airlines in Atlanta which did not have a Union at that time.
    My Brother was a Captain Pilot for United and stationed in Chicago.
    I have my one and only credit card with American Airlines to accumulate frequent Flyer Miles. I live in Oklahoma but just one short flight from Dallas and the World. I’m grateful I can fly anywhere I want to go!!

    Aircraft is a non-plural noun in English - this mean that the plural of “aircraft” is still “aircraft” and not “aircrafts” as “aircrafts” is not a word in English. To denote if a non-plural noun is being used in the singular or plural form one simply looks at the context of the sentence or pronoun used before it. Thus “United has 1441 aircraft” is correct but “Southwest has 800 aircrafts” is not

      Actually the noun 'aircraft' is countable. But the plural is the same as the singular.

    Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) does not handle 200 million travelers per year, American Airlines as a whole across their entire operations does.
    DFW handled just over 81 million passengers in 2023.

    • @TheDavidlloydjones
      @TheDavidlloydjones 7 місяців тому

      Since most of the people involved travelled more than once, the number of users, passengers, was far far fewer than 81 million. They're multiple-counting their passengers.
      If a man flew there five times, they're calling him five people, incorrectly.
      You and I are the same two passengers every time either one of us flies. One of us may be a passenger not flying that day.

    • @chrisengrace
      @chrisengrace 7 місяців тому +1

      DFW saw 81 million in 2023, and AA flew 211 million last year. This guy confused the 200M (AA Total) as DFW’s total passengers

    I'm puzzled why you describe the Boeing 737 as infamous. Could you please clarify? While the 737 MAX faced significant challenges and controversies, it's important to recognize that the broader 737 family has a distinguished history and reputation. The accidents involving the 737 MAX were indeed tragic, but they shouldn't overshadow the legacy of the 737 series as a whole. Let's differentiate between the troubled history of the 737 MAX and the overall success and significance of the 737 lineage."

    remember the SW mustard pots of the 80's - old 737-200's, some with aft facing seats. But when have they ever been "fun to fly?" As for FDX, the are no more MD-10's after their 20 year service span, and the MD-11's will be gone by the end of the year, and over a third of the 757's are gone. And the 767 deliveries have slowed to a trickle. Raj wants to turn FDX into a trucking company and Fred Smith no longer calls the shots or has oversight :(``` Delta Air Lines will have no 717's by the end of next year and one comes out of the fleet every month :)`` ;)```
